POV - ESMEE BADEUAX My tears fall backward, burning as they singe their way down my throat. The room is dark and I can barely see a thing, the last thing I remembered was being knocked out.I try to get up but I'm pulled back by chains, this chair is so uncomfortable that my back is starting to hurt. I start to shift in my seat so that I can get a bit comfortable."Stop that." Says a voice from a distance. "Where am I?" I question the person. I can't see him clearly because it's too dark. POV - GABRIELLA SANGRIENTO She stopped moving. "Check her."Francesco removes the cloth from her and pats Esmee's cheeks rapidly. "She's not breathing." POV - GABRIELLA SANGRIENTO Today is the day of the Masquerade ball and I just can't wait till I get back to Italy. It has been a while since I've been in New York so I'll have to get used to everything again.I stare at myself, through the full-body mirror and admire the view. POV - GABRIELLA SANGRIENTO "Giovanni." I hissed."Gabriella." He paused, raising one eyebrow. "Why aren't I surprised?" I say as Giovanni smirks.
