Michael's POV

The kitchen smelled like garlic, butter, and roasted peppers.

I stood over the stove, stirring the pan slowly while the sauce thickened. The wooden spoon scraped softly against the bottom of the pot, the sound steady and calming in a way my mind definitely wasn’t.

I was making Henry’s favorite as a peace offering. I had cooked this dish hundreds of times over the years.

Michael's POVFor a moment, the entire room felt like it had gone silent.Henry stood a few feet away from me in the hallway, his arms crossed tightly over his chest like a shield. His shoulders were tense, his chin slightly raised in that stubborn way he had inherited from Fernando.Behind him, Kim lingered quietly near the hallway entrance, watching the scene unfold with concern.Theo stood near me, leaning casually against the armrest of his couch like he had front-row seats to a show he wasn’t supposed to be watching. The dish in my hands was suddenly heavier than before as I took another step forward.“Henry, I came here to apologize.”“You should’ve thought about that before” he replied very coldly. “I know.”“And now you show up here like nothing happened?”“I brought your favorite dinner.”Henry looked down at the dish in my hands. For a split second, something flickered in his expression then the walls came back up.“I don’t care" he said and it hurt, badly.“Henry…”“Just g

I had cooked this dish hundreds of times over the years.Nick leaned against the counter behind me, his arms crossed, watching the whole process like a judge in a cooking competition.Ashley sat at the small kitchen table, scrolling through her phone but glancing up every few seconds.“You’ve added salt three times already,” Nick said casually.I frowned at the pot.“No I haven’t.”“Yes, you have.”Ashley looked up.“He’s right" she agreed.I paused then sighed.“Fine" I said.Nick smirked.“See? Stress cooking.”“I’m not stressed.”“You’re cooking a five-star meal to bribe your son into forgiving you,” Nick replied.“That’s not bribing.”“That’s literally the

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Strategic Desires

Theo's POVI took a moment before leaving the restroom, not because I needed to but because I wanted to.The mirror above the sink reflected a man who looked perfectly composed, which was exactly how I wanted to appear when I walked back to the table, even though my mind was still replaying the last few minutes. The furious look on Michael’s face, the way his breath had hitched when I kissed him, the shock in his eyes.I exhaled slowly and adjusted my jacket.Infuriating man.A faint smile touched my lips before I pushed the restroom door open and walked back into the restaurant. The warm lighting and soft music greeted me again as I crossed the dining room.Vanessa was exactly where I left her. Sitting elegantly at the table, swirling the wine in her glass. The moment she noticed me approaching, her expression brightened.“There you are.”I slid back into my seat.“My apologies.”“That was quite a long call.”I leaned slightly forward.“My daughter likes to call me before going to be

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Lines Crossed

Michael's POVFor a few seconds after Theo pulled away, I couldn’t move. My brain was still trying to catch up with what had just happened. The cold tile pressed against my back and Theo’s hands were still pinning my wrists against the wall. His face was only inches from mine and my heart was beating so hard I could feel it in my throat. What the hell just happened? Then my mind snapped back into place.I pushes him hard.“Get the hell off me!”Theo stumbled back a step, finally releasing my wrists. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand like I could erase the moment completely.“What is wrong with you?” I snapped.Theo leaned casually against the sink again like nothing had happened and then he laughed.“You should see your face,” he said.My cheeks were burning.“You’re insane.”Theo tilted his head slightly, studying me with that same irritating calm.“No, i’m honest” he said.“Honest? You just assaulted me” I barked. “That was a kiss.”“That was not a kiss.”“It was, you just

Michael's POVI shouldn’t have followed him. That thought crossed my mind the moment I pushed open the restroom door but by then it was already too late.Theo Park stood by the sink, drying his hands with one of the crisp white paper towels. The light above the mirror reflected off the polished marble counter, casting a soft glow across the room.He looked up the second I walked in, his eyes met mine first then that calm, irritating expression spread across his face again. The same one he had worn when I punched him earlier. The same one he had worn while Henry stood beside him instead of me.“Well, this is becoming a habit” Theo said casually, tossing the paper towel into the trash. I shut the door behind me. The quiet click of the lock echoed louder than it should have.“You’re following me now?” he continued mildly.“I’m not following you.”“No?”His eyebrow lifted slightly.“Because it looks very much like you walked into a restroom just to glare at me” he said.I took a few step

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Necessary Games

Theo's POVThere were many places I would rather have been tonight but instead, I was here sitting across from Vanessa Caldwell, smiling like I enjoyed every second of this dinner.I didn’t, not even a little.Vanessa Caldwell was beautiful in the way magazine covers described beauty with perfect hair, flawless makeup, a sleek black dress that probably cost more than most people’s monthly rent. She was powerful too, one of the most influential investors in the luxury automotive industry and tonight, she was the key to expanding my operation.Which meant I had to play along. Even if the entire situation felt like a performance.Vanessa lifted her wine glass and swirled the dark liquid slowly.“You’re unusually quiet tonight, Theo.”I smiled. The kind of smile that made people think you were listening very carefully.“I’m listening.”She tilted her head.“That’s not the same thing.”Her eyes lingered on me longer than necessary. There it was, the look.Vanessa Caldwell had been interest
