Celine furrowed her eyebrows, her arms crossed over her chest, and stared at Larissa with a jealous jealousy that ate her hollow, angry at her for their rudeness and for offering to help him, and what could Her Holiness do for him when she did not?

Cayden walked around with his troubled looks between them feeling Selene's feelings easily, confused about him, floundering amid the whirlpool of his need from Larissa on the one hand, and his unwillingness to provoke Selene's anger and jealousy on the other hand, so he hem trying to hide his thirst and weakness from them, deciding to dismiss Larissa for another time:

"Not now Larissa, I can wait a little longer, go and when I need you I will call you."

Larissa raised her troubled gaze to him, unable to hide the oryx from his rejection, which he threw in her face, afraid of the next, as he refused sustenance from her. This means that he will soon abandon her for good. His wing, but it seems that Celine's appearance in his life will change all previous plans and keep her out of the equation.

"As my lord commands," she whispered in her usual voice, and departed in complete silence, dragging behind her the tails of disappointment and rejection.

He followed her with his apologetic looks, feeling her deep sadness, Celine's appearance causing her to feel insecure, afraid he would abandon her.

He realizes that Celine is impossible to accept, especially after discovering her fiery personality.

"What do you need and what do you want to serve you?" Celine asked suspiciously

"Not now, I have an important meeting with the Senate. You can go to the library and read if you like," he answered, fleeing her question.

Her pupils narrowed, staring at him with suspicion and suspicion, but she did not stop yawning, "I think I'll go back to sleep a little, I feel very tired."

She caressed her forehead, "Are you feeling ill, I can call the doctor if you want."

"No…" she yawned again. "I just need sleep, a lot of it." She threw herself on the bed, burying her tiny body between the folds of the silk sheets, taking a comfortable position, ready to sleep again.

He watched her anxiously, busy finding a way to explain the question of his strength from Larissa without arousing her anger, or was he content with sustenance from Larissa in secret?

He exhaled narrowly and bewildered, forcing himself to leave the ward towards his emergency meeting.

Kayden sat at a round table with five of his senators, the situation is not reassuring, he lost an entire family that was attacked by Siren, that ugly creature who eats the flesh of his people brutally, since he found Celine and took her under his wing, blocking them from her and they are brutally attacking his people with a goal restore it.

He was fortunate when he noticed one of the Sirens sneaking out of the island in a suspicious manner, so he followed him and discovered that they had found it.

"We must increase the guard on the far farms and find a way to attack them at the back of their house and their positions, as they are doing to us."

"Lord, you know that this is impossible, they are cold-blooded amphibians and there is no way to track them down. We have searched for their headquarters for generations, to no avail."

Kayden wandered thinking about Celine, "There is a way, but it needs time, planning and preparation, and so far I can't promise you anything about it, but it is our only hope."

Will you be able to help him? Will she be up to the responsibility that will be placed upon her? It's their only hope to destroy these monsters, and she's the only one capable of doing so.

"Didn't you wake up yet?" Lina asked, approaching the bed, looking at her anxiously

"No, my lord, she has been sleeping since I left her this evening."

"Summon the doctor at once." Lina ordered as he lifted Celine from her seat, still, cold and lifeless, barely hearing her weak heartbeat and weak breathing.

"Celine, do you hear me?" he asked, listening as her faint and weak moan barely left her throat. "Oh Almighty!!! Don't do this to me now, I desperately need you and you must pass your transition in peace."

"She needs the sun's rays right now, my lord, she is dying. It was necessary to expose her to the sun's rays from time to time. Its rays are as important to her as the importance of blood to us, without it, it gradually weakens and perishes."

"Why didn't you tell me about this before? She has been in the dark since we brought her here, have you been waiting for her death to let me know?" He roared angrily, startling the doctor

"When will the sun rise?" He asked looking around for the antique clock column checking the time. Lina answered him from behind him

"Forty minutes, my lord."

"Will you stand up to that time?"

He asked the doctor, interrupting him with angry looks about to slap his neck and get rid of his stupidity, so the latter hem, confused, not knowing what to answer and afraid that he would pass his judgment on a matter he did not know, so Kayden exhaled tightly, taking her in his arms hanging.

"I will take it up to the roof, and I will put it there until the sun rises on it. What do I need to know next, doctor?? I don't want any more surprise."

The doctor bowed before him, ashamed of his shortcomings, "The time for her conversion is approaching. Her need for sunlight is one of the major signs that her conversion is approaching. We must be vigilant for that."

He stood behind the doctor, allowing him to examine her, waiting impatiently for his assessment of her condition.

Kayden returned his attention to her, the date is approaching, and he still does not know how to help her accept herself and embrace her new abilities without harming herself first and then his people second, for the first time in his life he feels helpless in front of a crucial issue of great importance like this.

"I don"t want you to come out of that damned library, you will read every book that mentions it even in one word and come to me with every information you find, go," the doctor ordered before leaving the ward towards the roof of the palace....

The sun is shining bright, spreading its refreshing warmth on the earth and everything on it, enjoying them with its infinite resources, as the sun"s rays are a very important source for the continuity of life for all living creatures on earth from plants, animals, humans, and even inanimate objects and other creatures. Of all kinds, without exception, an astonishing contradiction and an inevitable reality.

Celine fidgeted, gradually regaining consciousness, feeling an overwhelming lightness, as if she was surrounded by fragile clouds and silky threads tickling her being, reborn as a butterfly preparing to emerge from its cocoon to face life for the first time.

She opened her eyes, shocked by the bright sunlight that clouded her vision, so she blocked her light with her palm, wondering: Where is she??

She inspected the place around her, between the openings of her fingers, watching the green nature shimmering under the bright sun, surrounded by the lush trees and the chirping of birds chirping around.

And when the image was firmly established in her mind, she rose from her place and shouted with innocent childlike enthusiasm:

"It was a dream, it was all a dream, no, but a long and exhausting nightmare, I'm forgetful and there are none of those horrible creatures I've seen, no vampires or that disgusting creature and I'm not going to be something else."

She clasped her hands to her chest, raising her head to the sky, thanking the Almighty for His blessings, and breathing a sigh of relief.

Oh mighty!!

The death of her mother really affected her sanity and thinking, and plunged her into a dark nightmare that has no resolution.
