She gasped for a moment as she made an attempt to lift herself off the ground. At first glance the alley way she was in looked familiar but as she looked around for the soldiers, she had been fighting everything started to seem strange. It was almost as if someone had taken the world she once knew and replaced it with an alternate version. Although, if that were the case then why was she in the alley way she had been in before? Secondly, how in the hell did she get beaten by eight Syndicate thugs to the point she was on the ground. Her thoughts brought her to only one conclusion and it gave her the chills as she realized that it was the only possibility.
She was forced into a parallel timeline by someone and the culprit took whoever they were after and replaced them with her. Problem was who was the target and why? As far as she knew the only beings capable of opening time breaches in her timeline had either been killed or imprisoned. The rules for opening breac
They walked down several corridors before they came to an armory, Cassandra allowed Alicia to walk in first. Inside she saw dozens of soldiers preparing for their respective missions. She looked over at a few weapon racks and started for a standard plasma rifle, but then stopped. She felt a jolt in her brain unlike anything she'd ever felt before. Within an instant a flash of images streamed through her brain. Images of what must've been her counterpart using a standard plasma rifle. Alicia never did use a plasma rifle as she was trained specifically for espionage and stealth missions. Her specialty was with sniper rifles and pistols. Also, hand to hand combat was an art she was very proficient in. It was becoming clearer more and more that she and her counterpart were very different. This made her wonder even more why Demonya would switch them, if both of them were so different. Although, there had to be something similar about them besides the obvious things.
Helena gasped for air as she looked around at where she and Ivy had arrived at. From the looks of it they were in an apartment. A very lavish looking apartment as she noticed the décor and expensive tech."Whose apartment is this?"Ivy turned around slightly. "Alicia's."Helena doubted that, unless Alicia's sense of style had changed when she went back and changed things. What was really throwing her off was that there were things around the apartment that caused her to question Ivy. Such as a picture of Alicia in full federation uniform with a small child who she figured was her daughter Valicia. Only problem was that in the timeline Alicia was from Valicia was a teenager. Also, Alicia was married to Jayden Alexander, she turned to Ivy who was busy looking at files on a nearby computer. As she walked up to her she noticed the file as a familiar one. It was a document containing information about Cassandra Novgrav
Bridge of 'The Unmasked' - Edge of Intergalactic Federation Territory. She stared at the report document that had been on the screen of her monitor for the past hour. Every bit of news within it was of no help to her or anyone else for that matter. For six months she had been searching for her nemesis and to come so far and now be without results, was a frustrating situation at best. Yet she still did have cards to play, they wouldn't please the people who were the sole reason for her monumental task of capturing and swapping different Alicia's from alternate time lines. In the beginning she felt good about what she had done, but ever since she had been across the table from Alicia Greyshon five years ago, she had been having mixed feelings about why she was on this crusade of death and destruction. She would normally tell herself that she was doing all this because the Collective were the true rulers of Parade
Alicia Iminz, Alicia Alexander or Greyshon, the name she'd given herself the day of the final battle of Gatekeepers War. A war that she never wanted to be a part of even though she had visions of it year's before it happened. She was a piece in game of chess that could never be won, the weapon her mother and rest of the goddesses wanted but didn't truly understand or deserve. All she had always wanted was a normal life. It's why only she and her cousin knew what really happened at that final battle. If the Goddesses or Collective knew what she did God only knew what may happen. That piece of evidence would tear down the world she knew in many ways. She knew Ivy was keeping something from her, but she trusted her and knew her well enough to know that she would tell her when she was ready. As far as Jenniri and Sabrina were concerned, she would have to locate them after she finished business in Paradea. Her home, the place she left vowing never to return to. It wa
They had all remained silent after Alicia's projection had vanished. None of them said anything to the other, everyone just remained silent, mostly because they were all shocked by Alicia's ability to project her consciousness across realms. The goddesses were capable of doing such things, but a demi goddess, that hadn't been seen before at least by them. Jenniri was the first to break the silence, she hated quiet and tension mixed together. Especially when it involved this particular group. If Cassandra and Demonya were here it would be a serious issue."So, I take it we're all just going to sit and wait for Alicia to come back. You all realize that her reasoning for not fighting the Collective won't help or change anything, because the problem isn't Alicia it's us. The decisions we've made that brought us here is the issue at hand."A nod from Sabrina and Carmen could be seen by Jenniri, Ivy and Helena stayed silent. Jenniri shook her head
"I know you can hear me, you always could. You were the spark that would be the undoing of the Collective. Look at what has happened, worse is coming. You are the only thing that stands in her way. Please join us."Alicia stood silent next to her mother within the Goddesses council chambers as she heard Jenniri's voice echo. Joy filled her heart at her friend's voice, though it pained her that she was incapable to go to their aid. During her training that statement had been made on several occasions, somewhere along the way she had cast aside the idea that she alone could bring down the Collective. The Goddesses saw her as some sort of warrior, she never wanted any of this; many had died fighting alongside her. She had been warned by members of the council that if she chose to wage war it would cost her a great deal. Alicia gritted her teeth as she saw how right they had been. Yet, she had been forced to wage war, it wasn't something that she had been a
Alicia stood alone in her mother's private chambers as she began to mentally prepare herself for what she was about to do. Going back in time was something she hadn't done before; she had felt Ivy and Helena both go into the past and change different things. Ivy had gone back to save members of the Chosen and her mother. Helena had gone back and saved the Phoenix Order from death, somehow, she had found a way to communicate with her past self and avoid death. Alicia needed to accomplish a similar task, though she would have to change her decisions on multiple events, or maybe it was just one. As she contemplated her options, she heard a rushing wind enter the room and then fade. She turned to see a familiar face staring at her, it was her own face. She looked upon her visitor with utter confusion."Who are you?"Alicia Greyshon stood in the center of the chambers; her eyes never left Alicia Iminz's. The two of them stood there for a long tim
Journal of Priestess Jeriuz, Written During the Events of the First Scism, 47,000 C.A."Long before the creation of celestial and mortal beings there was the Five Realms. Each containing locations of immense power and beings that were capable of wielding it. The most powerful of these beings were the dreaded God Collective and the Goddesses of Paradea. Celestial beings that held the seat of power within the First Realm. A power the God's believed only they were worthy of, a power that could corrupt even the purest of hearts. In the beginning we were at peace with one another and ruled side by side. Although, peace is but a fragile element and it can even be a deadly illusion when your ally is truly your enemy, plotting against you in the darkness. For eons we ruled together until one day everything we thought about our world was changed. In secret the Collective formed a unity and bega
