XXXIX. L City Base's Fall
The rainy season has finally started, roads are always flooded inconveniencing a lot of people inside the base. The rain didn't stop for a week, and even when it stopped, the sun still refused to make appearance. The weather undoubtedly affected everyone's mood, only those overly optimistic ones can smile from ear to ear.
Just like Eden who's obviously lovestruck that she can't stop smiling from morning to evening. Farrah even began to believe that Eden's lips were sculpted that way because she can't seem to close her mouth at all. Her pearly white teeth were proudly shown to anyone.
“You don't feel your muscles cramping smiling all day?” Farrah chuckled, leaning on her chair, steaming coffee placed on her wooden table.
Eden shyingly blinked, a red tint spreading over her plump cheeks. “No. I'm not smiling since morning alright. I'm just being normal here. You guys are so weird.”

The night is strangely silent, as if there’s no signs of life at the moment. The battle between humanity and doom is at its peak. Each second that pass, someone sacrifices their life, someone weeps from the loss of loved one, someone fighting for another chance in life. Yet, no one wanted to give up. No one wanted to die without a fight. Now that the vaccine has been completed and at its production, everyone was more energized fighting against the undead. Because there's no clothes around, Dior had to stand naked inside the room. Farrah had to stop herself from laughing and quickly checked if she had wounds in her hand before washing his clothes. She was naturally careful not to get infected, but it didn't hinder her trying to get close to her husband. Using her ability, he managed to wrung out the dampness from the clothes and made it dry in just few minutes.
