Etrigon The sky was pitch black allowing the tiny clusters of stars to flicker glossily, the full moon itself mingled into the night creating a beautiful illumination on the town. Eighteen-year-old Elroy looking rather exhausted, trots his horse up a hill path leading to the cottage of Orlanda Ramsey. On getting to a point of view were the cottage could be seen, the cottage door was wide open - first time such had happened; the only source of light was the flame lantern hanging outside which was almost fading out. Keeping the bad thoughts on check Elroy quickly got off his horse; walking gently towards the cottage, his heart beat increasing with every step he took. Rune Clan, a small merchant town with four open streets and tight alleys due to the closely built cottages and shacks. The rainstorm in the town raged on as the wind wailed, keeping everyone locked inside their homes, the only light emitted in the town excluding the flashes of lightning, was from a tavern just before the harbour. In the bar room Elroy was seated, having a drink with Lukas, Mira, Karin, Jake and Hector; a pale chubby fellow, having thin black hair and the looks of a teenager. All together they make team five of the Seekers squad as told Elroy by Mira, a squad dedicated to fight demons. The Waste Lands, hell on earth, the nature of this doughty landscape. It’s the only place ever known to allow crime prevail in its full potential; there are four towns in this desert land, separated by a day’s ride. Each town has its head but under the lord of the Waste Lands, Goru Sein, a ruthless man with no regard for human life. A cart carrying a large steel cage holding a group of battered prisoners trots through the gates of Slavers task, moving along the wide open street leading towards the town square. Slavers task is one of the towns in the Waste lands, warded by Rose Nigel, like the other towns, Slavers task is enclosed in a spherical shape by a large palisade. However, this very town was sour to the sight, the inner walls were old and ready to collapse at the loudest bang, the well at the entrance was home to flies, there were no trees neither birds flying around, the surroundings harboured various waste, the town was literally dead. At the deep of night - Slavers task drew silent, the only sound heard were the lashes coming from a cottage in the north section of the town. In the cold, dank, empty room, Elroy let out a squeal to every whiplash tearing out his flesh. Not much he could do even if he wanted to, his hands were shackled together which hung from the ceiling, Elroy had endured the torture for five months; the first three months were hell, he cried his eyes out, begging as the whip lashed life from him - the only thing keeping him sane was the thought of killing Orlanda Ramsey; he took each pain as a training to kill his emotions. "I can see the whips have gotten used to you," Rose spoke with a heavy breath then tosses the whip aside. "That's good," she walks up front to Elroy, "now we can move on to phase five." In a wholly dark room Elroy lay on the cold floor, stripped of his clothes, bruised and bloody. Beside him stood Rose, selecting from various sizes of knives on the torture table; no matter how strong his mind was, there's a breaking point for every man - it has been seven months now and the torment grew stronger, Elroy was losing every sense of his being, he could barely speak nor lift a finger. "Shall we begin phase nine baby doll?" She squats before Elroy. "You've got potential baby doll, I may actually consider making you my next in command and lover if you survive to phase ten." At the top of a gorge four figures clad in brown cloak trots their horses under the scorching sun towards a compound not far from their position. "Why in the world would you let Elroy go alone Malachite." Taven fumed. "I'm sorry Tav, but his eyes were intense, I couldn't say no." "Well he better be fine when we get there." Aria anticipated. "Why does he always have a death wish?" Taven complained. On getting to the entrance of the compound four dead men drenched in their blood lay there, the gates were wide open and the sound of clashing blades echoed out. Taven alongside Aria and Malachite quickly dismounted their horses then hurried into the compound drawing their swords.
