Ariel was completely oblivious to all these things happening on Zach's side. She and Chad discussed for a while the high-tech material that Vireon was about to launch.

Even before the event started, Ariel had roughly listed out the pros and cons of this new material made by Vireon.

After she was done making her notes, Ariel noticed that Jayson and Nancy had split up. Nancy was nowhere to be seen. On the other hand, Jayson was trying to move away from the crowd forming around him, heading toward the hall.

Ariel put down her pen and stood up. She informed Chad before leaving her seat. "I'm going to the restroom for a bit."

"Sure." Chad was looking down as he responded.

Ariel stopped Jayson just as he turned the corner. Jayson's expression remained unchanged when he saw Ariel. "What's wrong?"

Ariel lifted her head. Her face was so tiny that it made her big, serene-looking eyes stand out even more. "I need to ask you something. So, just give me a moment."
