ELVIS POV

I stood on the balcony of my penthouse, the glittering view of Montenegro stretched out before me. The city was alive with lights and movement, a masterpiece of modern elegance framed by ancient history. But tonight, I couldn’t appreciate its beauty. My mind was too preoccupied with memories I’d rather forget.

It had been three years since I was forced to leave Russia—a place that was no longer my home. My departure had been swift, cold, and unforgiving. Montenegro had become my gilded cage, but the chains of my past still clung to me. I could vividly recall the disappointment on the faces of those I cared about. Especially *his* face. The hatred in his eyes, the venom in his words—they haunted me.

*"Don’t you dare touch me again. The next time you do, I’ll break more than your jaw,"* he spat, his voice shaking with rage. *You disgust me*. You can’t even own up to your actions. You took me for a fool because I tried to let things go. But now? Now I see you for what you are—*a pathetic, selfish prick."*

I tried to explain, but my voice broke under the weight of his fury. The ache in my cheek from his earlier punch was nothing compared to the sting of his next words.

*"Don’t even try to speak. Your voice makes my skin crawl, and your words mean nothing to me anymore. But mark my words Elvis—what you did to me and my family, I’ll repay tenfold. You’d better stay hidden he said pointing towards me, Elvis. Stay well damn hidden, he repeated in a low dangerous voice because the next time I see you, it’ll be your blood on my hands. And that will be your last day on this earth.

He stormed past me, his shoulder slamming into mine as I crumbled to the floor. Broken. Humiliated. A fool drowning in the consequences of my mistakes.

The memory sent a chill down my spine. I shook my head, forcing the past back into the shadows where it belonged. Just then, Pavel, my bodyguard, appeared at the balcony door.

“Young Boss, your friend is here to see you,” he said in his usual gruff tone.

Pavel had been my bodyguard since childhood, though his loyalty always lay with my father. When I first arrived in Montenegro, my father’s orders turned Pavel into more of a jailer than a protector. Guards were everywhere—some visible, most not—watching my every move. My father had ensured I stayed isolated, especially from other men. Even my chance to explore my own sexuality was smothered by his control.

But things had changed. After a heated confrontation with Pavel about his true loyality, he became less strict. Still, the expectations remained. I had to train, learn, and transform myself into the man who would one day inherit my father’s empire. The soft edges of my past—the so-called “feminine” demeanor my father detested—were sanded away with boxing, a strict diet, and relentless discipline.

“Let him in,” I said, dismissing Pavel without turning around.

Minutes later, a knock sounded at the door. Leo stepped inside and walked out onto the balcony, greeting me with his usual carefree energy.

“Hey, man, what’s up?” He flopped onto the sofa, stretching out like he owned the place.

I joined him, sinking into the seat opposite. My head tilted back, eyes on the ceiling as I sighed.

“You good?” Leo asked, breaking the silence.

“I’m fine,” I replied, though my frown betrayed me.

“Had a fight with Pavel?” he teased, smirking.

I raised an eyebrow, silently marveling at how little Leo knew about my real life. To him, Pavel and my other bodyguard, Losif, were just my brothers. It had been a lie Leo unknowingly came up with during his first visit, making it easier for me to go along with it. I hadn’t bothered to correct him about who I really was—after all, we were supposed to be in hiding. To Leo, we were just rich kids with absent parents. Our carefully curated normalcy—simple clothes, casual demeanors—kept the truth buried.

“So,” Leo said, his grin widening, “what brings you out of your brooding today?”

I rolled my eyes. “Shouldn’t I be asking you that?”

“Ouch. Why do I feel like you’re already kicking me out?” Leo laughed, standing up and heading inside to my bar. I followed, rubbing my temples as he poured himself a drink.

You shouldn’t be drinking you are underage,” I said flatly, leaning against the counter.

“Says the guy with a bar full of alcohol and no restriction for someone just as underage as me,” Leo retorted, raising an eyebrow.

“They’re not mine,” I lied. “They’re my brothers’.

“Right,” he said, taking a sip. “Keep telling yourself that.” besides we are almost 18 and that part wasn't a lie.

like you haven't been drinking before, i rolled my eyes, ignoring him, choosing instead to focus on the dull ache forming behind my eyes

“Leo set his glass down and turned to me, his expression suddenly serious. “There’s a party tonight,” he said. “One of our classmates is hosting it. You should come.”

“I’m not interested,” I replied immediately.

“Come on, Elvis. It’s our last year of school. You barely know anyone besides me and Noah. Don’t you want to live a little?”

I stiffened at his words. *Live a little.* The last time I tried to live, everything I cared about fell apart. I’d learned my lesson. No friends, no risks. Leo might think we were close, but I kept him at arm’s length for his own safety. Getting too close to me was a death sentence, and I’d already destroyed enough lives.

“I’m not going,” I said, my tone final. Without another word, I turned and walked to my room, leaving Leo sighing behind me.

  • Deadly Enimity : A love forged in Hate   Chapter 79

ELVIS POVI barely covered a foot before Oleg was on me. Grabbing my jaw from the front and tore me back to my feet. Forced eye-to-eye for the first time since he had dragged me onto his lap, I took in the horrifying contrast—while I was battered and fighting for air, he appeared almost unscathed; his damp hair fell across his forehead, veiling his eyes slightly was the only indication that he’d exerted himself at all. A deadly coldness hardened his features. "How many times does it take for it to sink in?" he hissed, his thumb digging into my skin. "You don't ever attempt to run from me."I didn't even get a full look at him before I was airborne. I collided hard with the wall, then collapsed onto the ground with a bone-jarring thud. A low groan tore from my throat; my head had also cracked against the concrete—I was stunned to find no blood when I reached up to check. Oleg moved toward me, but his figure doubled, blurring into two identical threats. I squeezed my hands into tight fi

ELVIS POVHe acted as if I hadn't spoken at all. "Oleg," I pleaded. "Keep quiet," he growled. "Unless you want to add more bodies to the listI went instantly mute, curling into myself in a frantic bid to stay unseen by whoever was on the other side. The heavy door groaned open just enough for a worn, canvas-like bag to be passed through. Oleg kept me completely shielded, securing my legs with his left arm while grabbing the drop with his right. Re-centering his grip, he carried me back into the room. The sack swung, striking my knee, its contents a terrifying mystery.Oleg sat back down in the chair, hoisting me back onto his lap. That was when the world stopped, making it excruciatingly clear that I didn't affect him at all, not even on the most basic, biological level. Unlike mine, he didn't have a shred of arousal. I heard my own heart fracture into pieces. Was this just how his body worked? It felt massive, pressed against my ass, so how could it still be soft? I pressed back har

ELVIS POV“Hours earlier”The metallic tang of blood saturated the air, thick enough to choke on.Three souls extinguished because Oleg had made it his mission to show me the consequences of feeling what I felt for him and daring to utter those feelings aloud. My eyes settled on the woman for the longest. The scapegoat from the very beginning. Her face was turned slightly toward me, eyes half-open. She might've been thinking about someone she loved. She hadn't deserved this.None of them had.Blood covered the floor, smeared across surfaces, soaked into everything around them.Blood.So fucking much of it.My breath broke into uneven heaves, each one more painful than the previous This was what I did.I took lives. I tore love from people; I shattered dreams they had spent years building, grinding every last piece beneath my heel."No. No, I can't stay here.” I thrashed against him, but my strength was evaporating. ELVIS POV The more aroused you get, the more the intensity climbs. And just when you're about to tip off that feeling… Oleg had chuckled when he told me this. "—it halts. Then leaves you the frustration, before it starts the whole cycle again." Who would've thought something so small could obey me exactly? That phrase had lodged itself in my head, refusing to leave. And now, I was experiencing exactly what he meant. ********* "Please—ah—make it stop, it's too intense, I can't take any more—" The words left me in shreds. My ass down through my legs was a full-body quake I had zero control over. Even so, I was shamelessly rocking myself back onto him, my broken brain too far gone to do anything but fuck myself harder on the exact thing I was begging him to stop. None of that compared to the cold, sickening fact: He still wasn’t hard. That realization hit worse than the vibrations ripping through me or, perhaps, than the dead bodies lying right in front of me. My body w

  • Deadly Enimity : A love forged in Hate   Chapter 75

ELVIS POV I was burning up, so distracted I missed Oleg’s hand sliding inside my shirt. His palm branded my skin like a live wire, igniting a dizzying heat in my belly. I sat helplessly, hyper-aware of the audience. I crossed my legs tightly. This is wrong. I felt like entertainment for the dying witness in front of us. "Oleg," I begged, gripping his wrist to stop him. "Please, not in front of them." I hushed the words out, terrified of drawing in the prisoners of his next move. But his hand was relentless. It slid lower, dipping into the waistband of my trousers. Terror gripped me. I stared down as I felt the blood rushing downwards, my body reacting against my will. I chewed on my lip so hard I drew blood, trying to stop the desire. His thumb circled my hip bone. What was meant to be a grip to push him away now felt like I was holding onto him. "Can we take this somewhere else?" I pleaded desperately He remained silent, amplifying the brutal awkwardness in the room. I was sweati

  • Deadly Enimity : A love forged in Hate   Chapter 74

ELVIS POV Those shadowed hazel eyes bore into mine, his lips sealed in a grim line. His body hardened against me, an abrupt rigidity, unlike the man I knew. My eyelids fluttered erratically, a physical reaction to the bile rising in my throat. I ransacked my mind for the voice that had compelled me to confess, the instinct that had driven those words between Oleg and me. But I found only a void. It was gone, leaving me to face the sin I had spoken into existence. My hands scrabbled against the solid wall of his chest, the contact electric. "I touched you... Ole... Oleg," I stammered, the words tumbling out in a breathless rush. That seemed to snip the thread holding him together. Whatever glimmer of humanity had touched him was extinguished, leaving his eyes vacant once more. A barely there smile ghosted over his lips as he dipped his head, then slowly lifted his gaze to meet mine. His lids were heavy, sultry, and his breathing had turned shallow and jagged. It was a pant so quiet
