LOGIN“What are you doing? You’re hurting him! That is your mate, Zenith! You can't treat him like trash!” “He is a traitor!” Zenith snarled, not slowing his pace as he marched me toward the stairs, his grip on my neck tightening until I could barely draw a breath. “And if the Moon Mother thinks I’ll let a spy into my heart just because of a biological fluke, she's as delusional as you are!” °°° I was supposed to stay hidden, until the world forgot a male Omega like me even existed. Then I was accused of a crime I didn't commit. And the twist I never could've expected? I was the Lycan King's mate, and he was mine. No king wants a lowly, criminal Omega. Especially in a world where male omegas are seen as useless, unnecessary beings in the werewolfdom. Now I’m his prisoner, his mistake, and his curse. He looks at me like I’m filth beneath his boots, yet the bond between us burns hotter than his hatred. But secrets have a way of crawling into the light, and now the ruthless Alpha who wants me dead has found a reason to keep me alive. I could give him a heir. And there’s no escape. He despises me, but he will claim me anyway, and will never let me go. The worst part? A traitorous piece of me still craves the monster who owns me.

“Silas, you need to listen to me,” Dr. Stephen said slowly, looking into my eyes like he was hoping I'd listen to everything that was about to come out of his mouth. I already knew where this was going. “Your system is under incredible strain. These suppressants….they aren't meant for long-term use at this dosage. Especially for an unmated omega, they’re lethal.” I immediately looked away, refusing to meet his eyes. I clenched my hands tightly to hold myself together. “I need them, Doctor. You know I don't have a choice.” I said weakly. “I know.” he sighed, leaning back. “But the medication is starting to get less effective because your body is fighting it. If you don't pause the dosage, your heart might just stop. You’re a male Omega who can conceive, Silas. It won't just disappear because you swallow a pill.” He paused, probably hoping that I would cave in. “If you don't pause the cycle soon, the internal damage might become irreversible. You’re playing a dangerous game with your own life.” I sighed in frustration, and I could already tell with the look in his eyes, that he knew I was done with the conversation. “Just give me the refill.” I whispered with a trembling voice. “Please.” He hesitated, then reluctantly slid the prescription across the desk. ‘This is the last time. Your body needs a break, or you won't survive the year.” I thanked him and stepped out of the clinic, ignoring his words. I knew Dr Stephen saw a patient in danger, but I was just an omega trying to survive. If the pack discovered I was a male Omega capable of conceiving, my life wouldn't just be over, it would become a cage. And I would be nothing more than a vessel, a breeding tool for whoever was strong enough to claim me, and for whatever they could extract from my body. In the werewolfdom, male omegas were the most useless of all sub-genders. At least the female omegas could conceive, but my kind was literally just a filler, we're just…there. Weak, useless, no importance, and most especially, useless. Did I mention useless? By the time I stepped outside the building, the sky had already dulled, which meant rain would start falling anytime soon. Great, I don't even have an umbrella, and I can't wait aside for the rain to stop, I have to be at work by the next 30 minutes. So I began walking just as the rain started drizzling. I pulled my hood up, managing my way through the gradual raging storm. ‘How long can I keep this up?’ I sighed as I wondered, watching as my boots splasih through a puddle. I was living a lifetime of secrecy that felt like a life sentence. Simply to say……I was tired of the masks, I was tired of the fear. But there was nothing I could do. Nothing. I ran away from home at the age of thirteen, the day I found out I was a male omega. Every werewolf presents at the age of ten, but I was a late bloomer which only made everything worse for me. On top of that, living in a house full of people who hated you had to be the worst thing that could ever happen to a person. I didn't have parents, just these people who said they found me in the woods and took me in, they raised me in their own uncouth ways. I was blamed for things I didn't do, severely punished for the slightest mistakes, and the moment I found out I was a male Omega? I ran. I ran and never looked back. Suddenly, someone bumped into me, yelling 'watch where you're fucking going!’ before running forward. “Idiot.” I said and shook my head. I was so lost in the fantasy of my own misery that I didn't hear the screech of tires as a car pulled up beside me. I turned my head just in time to see a flash of blinding white light, I heard footsteps, and then, a sudden sickening hit against my head. The impact sent me spinning, and for a fleeting second, the cold rain felt like ice against my skin. Then, the world tilted, and everything went black. °°°°° I gasped awake as ice cold water shocked my skin. “Get up bitch.” A rough voice snapped at me and before I knew what was happening or where I was. I was being pulled roughly to my feet and dragged out of the dark room I was currently in. “Wait, what's going on?” I asked as I struggled to walk on my feet. These men, Alphas no doubt, dragged me along like a sack of potatoes. “Where are you taking me?” I croaked. They didn't answer, and while they dragged me, I tried to figure out where I was. This wasn't The Northern pack, we weren't privileged to this much luxury, which made me more afraid of the reason I could be here. The heavy thud of their boots echoed in the corridor until we reached a pair of massive, cloaked doors. They swung open with a groan and I was shoved forward, stumbling until my knees hit the marble floor with a thud. I let out a sharp whimper, curling into myself, but a hand fisted in my hair and yanked my head back. “Look at the King,” a guard hissed. My blurred vision slowly cleared and my eyes collided with a pair of dark, blue eyes across the room. He was seated on a throne that looked like it was meant for the devil. I looked at his face and chills shot down my spine when I finally recognized him. It was The Lycan King, Alpha Zenith. What could I have possibly done wrong to be thrown in front of the King, known for being incredibly cruel and ruthless? His lips curled in disgust as he looked at my form like I was nothing more than a dirt under his shoes. “What is that?” His calm, deep voice should have been assuring, but it wasn't. It didn't stop the trembling of my frail body, because I knew damn well it was calm before the storm. “The one you're looking for your Majesty, we trailed him to the Northern territories.” One of the Alpha guards said. What? “No…..” I gasped in fear, my voice trembling as I tried to stand up to defend myself. “You have the wrong person, I don't know anything about this. I was….. I was just walking home.” The Alpha guard didn't even hesitate. His fist collided with the side of my face, sending me crashing back down to the marble. Pain exploded through my body and stars filled my vision. “Silence, Omega.” the guard barked in his dominant voice and I began to shiver on the floor, panting, then a terrifying realization began to crawl up my spine. A tremor started in my fingertips and raced to my heart when I remembered I hadn't taken my suppressants. To put it simply, I was a naked wolf with no furs without my suppressants. That was how I was feeling right now. Then, it hit me. A scent so overwhelming, it was cedarwood, and the scent of ancient earth. Without the suppressants, I was exposed to the world and the world was exposed to me, my senses suddenly filtered open, and the King’s aura was the first thing I inhaled, it flooded the room, forcing my body into a state of primal submission. My inner Omega screamed, trying to fight against the chains of the medication, and I let out a broken whimper under the sheer pressure of his power. The room suddenly went silent, and I heard as the King stood up and slowly walked towards me, every step he took toward me felt like a year being reduced out of my lifespan. The moment felt like I was awaiting my death. He came to a halt in front of me and crouched down to my level on the floor. “Are you saying my men are liars?” He asked with a deep voice. “N-no sir b-but-” I tried to explain but I was cut off sharply. The King reached out suddenly and grasped my chin, tilting my head up to face him. "Can't you fucking speak?" He sneered in my face and that was when I felt it. The moment his skin touched mine, the world tilted. A violent jolt of electricity, hot, searing sparks, shot through my jaw and raced straight to my core. It was as if a golden cord just snapped into place between us. It was overwhelming. My inner Omega, that had been starved and poisoned for years, buckled under the sheer weight of his Alpha pheromones, it made me whimper in involuntary submission. Looking at the king's face, I saw the way his nose flared, the way his chest heaved as he took in a sharp, lung-filling breath of my unfolding scent. For a heartbeat, the disgust in his eyes vanished, replaced by a raw, agonizing shock. He released me so abruptly I nearly hit the floor again, springing backward as if the touch of my skin had burned his flesh. He looked at his hand, then back at me, his chest heaving as if he’d been run through with a sword. Then I watched in fear, as the shock on his face slowly turned to anger, the way his face contorted into a mask of cold fury. “Your Majesty?” One of the guards asked, confused by the sudden retreat. He didn't look at me again, instead, he turned his back, to everyone. “Get him out of my sight,” the King commanded. “Put him in the holding cells. I want no one near him, if anyone so much as speaks to him without my word, I'll have your heads.” “But Sire-” “Now!” He roared, and everyone sprung into action. The guards scrambled, grabbing me roughly and dragging me out of the throne room. I didn't have much strength in me to fight and just let them drag me away. As the heavy doors began to groan shut, I caught one last glimpse of the King. He was still standing there, now staring at the spot where he'd touched me, looking like a man who had just seen his own ghost.Zenith's Pov Of all the Alphas who it could have been, it had to be him. He just made a very stupid mistake. He had already crossed a line once, he should have known better than to come anywhere near what belonged to me again. I looked at Kyle. “Which way?” Kyle pointed back down the corridor. “He ran when he saw me. I followed as far as could, but I lost him. I was just coming back to inform you when I met you here.” My hand on Silas’s arm could feel the tremor running through him, and I could almost taste the panic in his scent. “Are you hurt?” I asked, eyes glancing over him. Except for his distorted state and his roughed up clothes, he looked alright. But I still had to make sure. Silas shook his head quickly, then hesitated. “I–I stabbed him. With a knife, so I was able to get away.” Pride and fury hit at the same time. Though I wondered where Silas had gotten a knife, but it didn't matter. What I hoped was that he stabbed that bastard deep enough to damage something.
Silas's Pov It’s okay. It’s alright, Silas. You’re just overthinking. I told myself as I stood frozen in the corridor. We were probably just heading the same way. People ended up on the same path all the time at events like this; it did not have to mean anything. But then… who would be walking straight toward a dead end? Maybe it was not even the Alpha from the bathroom, it could have been someone else entirely. The footsteps had stopped, which meant whoever it was had stopped too. It should've been reassuring, but the silence only made my pulse louder in my ears. I closed my eyes, drew in a deep breath, and turned around slowly. Oh. It was him. It was him alright. The same Alpha from the bathroom stood only a short distance away, and the moment I faced him fully, his pheromones rolled out in thick, suffocating waves. The pressure hit me so hard I felt a headache press immediately at the back of my skull. My body stiffened under the force of it, but I wasn't affected by his ph
Silas's Pov Annoyance could not even begin to describe how I felt at the moment. We were in the car, already on our way to the mating ceremony of his Majesty's friend, who happened to be the Alpha of a pack in the West, a full hour’s drive from the palace. The length of the journey itself was not the problem, the problem was that His Majesty had been on a phone call for more than half of it. The moment we sat down in the car, his phone had rung, and he had been speaking ever since. I shifted slightly in my clothes, which I loved very much. All white, chosen by me after careful consideration. It was a clean, formal set, paired with white heels boots that had red bottoms, I'd forgotten what the servant that brought them called them. I had been too excited to wear them to hear any of the things the beta had said. It was my first time wearing heeled shoes, and every small movement made me more aware of them. According to what I had only recently learned, all white was expected of us
Zenith's Pov Silas kicked the sheets off for the seventh time this morning. I sighed, frustrated more at my own helplessness than at him. He lay tangled in the middle of the bed, sweating and shivering at the same time. According to Dr. Joana, when I had to call her when it got to a point, this was normal. Most Omegas came down with a mild fever after an intense heat. But even so, knowing that did not make it easier to watch. Three days. It's been three full days of heat and rut before either of us found the end of it. I had knotted him three times before the worst of it finally subsided. And now this. The sight of my Omega like this hurt more than I expected. It had started last night, not even twenty minutes after the third knot. One moment he had been quiet and exhausted in my arms; the next, he was shivering. I had made it worse by thinking a warm bath would help. The moment I got him out of the water, the shivering turned into heavy sweating. By morning, he had to

Silas's Pov The first lash landed across my back like fire, and I screamed, curling into myself as the second lash followed. White-hot pain exploded across my spine, stealing the air from my lungs. The third lash, however, did not come. Through the haze of agony, I slowly opened my eyes and was s
Silas POV One moment I was walking home in the rain, mourning a life lived in shadows, and the next, I was a traitor to the crown. It was a joke, it had to be. I was a nobody, like a ghost. How the hell could I ever be a spy? I leaned my head against the damp wall, trying to make sense of the nig
Silas POV “Silas, you need to listen to me,” Dr. Stephen said slowly, looking into my eyes like he was hoping I'd listen to everything that was about to come out of his mouth.
