(Detective Garcia’s POV)

I leaned against the shadowed wall of the dimly lit corridor where I found Cole and Bright after they sneaked out of the party. I was going to chase after Bright, but then I found them together.

They don’t really separate, do they?

My arms are crossed over my chest as I watch them. They’re standing too close to each other, whispering like lovers caught in their own little bubble.

It makes me sick.

I’ve always known that Bright was a faggot, but I didn't realize that it was this bad. And I didn’t expect that Cole is gay, either. He doesn’t look gay to me, though. Do they have a relationship?

I watched as Cole’s fingers brushed Bright’s cheek, wiping away what looked like a tear. Faggot’s crying? His expression softened, tender in a way I never thought I’d see from someone like him. It’s disgusting. Sweetness and Cole don’t belong in the same sentence. Yet here he is, playing the role of a gentle partner.

I narrowed my eyes. I can't

(Bright’s POV) I slide down the wall with a shaky breath as I watch Cole beat the life out of him. He punched him continuously on the face, his blood covering his fist. I started to panic when I saw the man close his eyes. He’s losing consciousness! "Don’t—" *punch* "—fucking—" *punch* "—touch him!" *punch* The man groaned. His face is so bloody, I could barely recognize him. He looked so destroyed, but Cole isn’t done. He’s going to kill him if he doesn't stop! I forced myself to move, grabbing Cole’s arm before he could strike again. "Stop!” He yanked my hands, but I didn't let go. I don't want him to regret what he’s doing right now. This man is still powerful. Who knows what might happen if this man got injured really badly. “I SAID STOP!” I screamed on the top of my lungs. Finally, he stopped. He released the man’s collar, and I watched as he dropped on the cold floor unconscious.

  • Deal With The Devil   Chapter 41 Not Again!

(Bright’s POV) When Cole said "business," I was expecting something like dark shits, maybe guns or drugs. I was all in, you know? I was ready to accept whatever shit he’s doing just to put gold bars on the table. But this? Really? Music is pounding through the walls like bombs, and I feel it shaking the floor beneath my feet. Lights are flashing in shades of rainbow, cutting through the smoky haze that I have no idea where it’s coming from. I’m thinking that maybe it’s cigarette smoke, but strawberry scented. All I know is that It’s making my head spin like a merry-go-round. People are everywhere in the room. They’re dancing, grinding, drinking, and losing themselves in the music like wild animals. This is far from the “mafia business” I expected. This is just a club. Well… a very liberated club. Cole led me through the sea of dancing people. I could feel a few of them brushing against me, but Cole was q

(Bright’s POV) I stared at Cole weirdly like he just grew another head. I’m completely thrown off from what he said. He’s also staring at me without breaking eye contact, which makes it ten times harder than it already is. We were having an eye contact contest, and nobody wants to lose against each other. Did he just ask me to sing for him? *Duuugg!* *Duuuugg!* *Duuuugg!* I held my chest. My heart is beating way too fast than average. This isn’t normal. It’s just a song. Why am I acting like he’s proposing to me with a ring? This heartbeat got me feeling like I am about to have a cardiac arrest. Calm down, Bright. It’s just Cole being weird again. “What the—” Before I could say anything, he took the mic from my hand. He put it close to his mouth, like he’s preparing to sing. I blinked. "What are you—?" He didn’t answer. Instead, he scrolled through the song list, ignoring me

(Jade’s POV) [Three Hours Ago] The weight of the gun is solid in Isaac’s hands as I adjusted his grip. I could feel my fingers lightly brushing against his—something I was looking forward to. That's why I agreed to help him train. “No, like this,” I murmured, stepping closer as I guided his fingers into the right position. He looked at it confusedly. I’ve been trying to fix his grip on the gun, but he doesn’t really get it at all. “You need to keep your wrist firm, or the recoil is gonna mess up your aim.” Isaac nodded his head innocently. He didn’t say anything, and just followed my lead. His eyes are fixed on the target. I swallowed hard. We’re close. Too close. Isaac and I have known each other for a very long time. He became my comfort in this place. I still remember the first time I went here. I was very scared, but then he helped me adjust to this place. We have never separated since then. As the years pass,

(Bright’s POV) I sank deeper into the bath’s warm water, letting my head rest against the edge of the jacuzzi. “This is what I mean when I say I want to relax…” I whispered, smiling. I opened my eyes, looking at the soft glow of the bathroom lights flickering against the rippling water. This entire day has been insane. I mean, how the hell did I suddenly become Cole’s fiancée? Does that make me his bride or something? That sounds so ridiculous. I passed out from gunfire and bomb explosion, woke up to find out that Cole is some kind of Mafia heir, and became his fiancée overnight. How could all of that happen in just one night? I know I shouldn't be really thinking that this is some type of dream again, but can you blame me? Everything that has been happening to me for the past few hours has been dreadful. I don't even know how to explain in words how much I’m fucking done right now. I huffed, reaching for the glass of expensive alcohol si

  • Deal With The Devil   Chapter 37 Search Him Up

(Bryan’s POV) I watched as Cole stormed out of the dining room, dragging the little twink behind him. He’s even struggling to keep up to his pace because of their height difference. What a scum. I leaned back in my chair, smirking. That was unexpected. The way the kid looked, all wide eyes and delicate features, if it weren’t for the suit, I’d swear he was a girl. Interesting. That doesn't change the fact that Cole doesn't know how to treat him better, though. He’s dragging him like he doesn't care even if he trips on the way. Does he actually see him as someone he’d marry? Or is this one of his stupid tactics again? I don't know about him, but that's helping me. I like the fact that my problem is dealing with himself. I do not have to do anything to destroy his image of my father because he’s already doing it to himself. I should be thanking him for doing that. He got me worried for a second when Father told me that he invited Cole to dinner. I thought he was going to marry
