ASHLEY laid on her bed, as she texted Aiden, smiling from ears to ears. Her room was so scattered, and dirty, folded sheets laid by a corner, dirty clothes rested on the table, but she barely noticed, her only concerns was the conversation she was having with Aiden, and how she couldn't stop smiling.

Aiden had just sent her a funny video of a cat trying to climb a tree, Ashley couldn't help but laugh aloud, tears came out of her eyes as she held her side. Not long after, Aiden sent a follow-up message about something different, one that brought her to the present. "Oh right," she muttered to herself, "I forgot about that."

Her phone buzzed with a notification and she scrolled up, she realized it was a text from Thomas. 'How is my favorite person doing?' Her fingers rested on the keyboard thinking of a reply when another message dropped. It was a dance tutorial video, he captioned it. 'I stumbled on this video, and you crossed my mind.'
