I gave it a second thought as I stood in front of the mansion where the man had asked me to meet him.

Am I making the right decision? I asked myself for the nth time as I held my phone firmly in my hand, my heart pounding hard against my chest. Even though I knew it would be dangerous to meet a stranger alone, my curiosity wouldn't stop pushing me, especially at the thought of it being related to the mysterious death of my Mom years ago.

I was just eleven years old when my Mom who was single at that time, passed away, and I had since spent years of my life in an orphanage until I turned the legal adult age of eighteen years old, and had to move out of the orphanage to fend for myself.
