“Silas, I'm really, really sorry! Gosh, it must be hurting.” Anthea apologized again and again while applying ointment to Silas’s wound. They were currently in Emilia’s apartment. Anthea brought Silas here to treat his wound first. Her heart was getting heavy with guilt each time she saw Silas’s face.

“It's okay, Anthea. It's not your fault, and it's nothing.” Silas chuckled lightly while wincing in pain every time Anthea put some medicine on his jaw.

“No. He's my husband, and I should be apologizing on his behalf. I don't know what has gotten into him recently.” Anthea shook her head while speaking. She quickly finished applying the medicine to him. Silas sighed. Something closer to jealousy flashed in his eyes, which Anthea failed to notice.
