Serena

I stroll into the office building, where both Conall and Henry are working today. I’ll be back here tomorrow for my meeting. Today, I am here to meet Conall. He is taking me for lunch before I drag him shopping with me. I am on the lookout for the perfect power suit and killer heels for my meeting. I will walk into the conference room with confidence, looking sexy, but classy all at the same time. I won’t show any weakness.

Walking by Henry’s office to get to Conall’s, I notice Henry in his office. I don’t acknowledge him and walk right back to my destination. Conall is taking a half day for me. I appreciate it. He didn’t have to, but when I asked, he said yes without hesitation. I lift my hand, ready to knock on the door, but before I can, something stops me, or should I say someone?

“Serena!” Henry’s irritated voice calls from behind me.

Rolling my eyes, I turn to face him. I place my hand on my hip, raising my brow at him. “Yes?” My tone matches his irritated one.

Henry come

ConallI am bored out of my mind. I hate shopping, and Serena has been dragging me around the stores for three hours. Three damn hours! I understand she wants the perfect outfit for tomorrow, but she has tried many power suits on that have been perfect. What do I know, though? I only have myself to blame for agreeing to come with her. I didn’t want her to go alone.I am sitting on a seat, and Serena is in the changing room, trying on more clothes. I can’t even occupy myself with my cell because the battery died. I am twiddling my thumbs, my foot impatiently tapping on the floor and sulking. I lose myself in pointless thoughts.“Why are you sulking?”The sound of Serena’s voice and laugh brings me out of my thoughts. I glance up at her and smile. She is in a perfectly fitted black power suit. A red blouse is underneath the jacket, and she has red heels on to match, too. She looks good. Sexy, classy, confident, and professional.“Damn, sweetness, you look good.” I groan. Henry is going

Conall “Serena, it is time to stop. Everything is done. It is late, and you need to sleep.” I sigh for about the fifth time within the last hour.I have helped her with her proposal, but she keeps changing it. She is stressing herself out. I understand she needs it to be perfect because it is part of her plan to take Henry down, but it’s not worth her stressing and overworking herself. It was fine the first three times she finished it. It is nearly two in the morning. She ignores me, again, typing away, focused only on the screen. I swear, I am due to switch her electricity off at the mains if she doesn’t stop. I get up from the sofa, going over to her desk. I place my hands on her shoulders, making her jump.“What the hell?” she snaps, glaring over her shoulder at me.“You need to stop. You need sleep. I called for you more than once.”“I am fine.” She whines.Groaning in frustration, I run my fingers through my hair. “Serena, turn it off, or I will find your power box and turn it o

SerenaI sneaked out of Conall’s place while he was still asleep. I didn’t want to be there when he woke up in case he started asking more questions about our conversation last night. I told him more than I should have. It isn’t the only reason, though. I have an important business meeting to prepare for in a couple of days. One I know will piss some people off, but I don’t care because it is part of the plan. It will be a fun day for me.Arriving home, I kick my shoes off and toss myself on the sofa, taking a moment to breathe. I got some good sleep last night, but I am still exhausted. I am sure that has to do with all the hot sex I had yesterday. Between my thighs, I have a little soreness. There are possibly some friction burns, but I don’t mind. It was amazing! I need it again, sooner rather than later.I close my eyes. A power nap sounds like a plan. It is amazing how twenty minutes can take the tiredness away and perk you up. I would go to bed, but if I do, I risk sleeping for

Possible Trigger Warning: Miscarriage. It doesn't happen in the chapter, but it is spoken about.ConallI’m woken in the middle of the night by the sounds of whimpering and talking. I sit up, taking a second to come too.“Serena, are you okay?” I ask. There is no answer from her. She is still sound asleep next to me.“No, you can’t take them from me,” she sobs, tossing in her sleep. What is she dreaming of? What is someone trying to take from her? I sit up, listening and watching her. A lot of what she is saying doesn’t make sense, but whatever it is, it is upsetting her. I want to wake her, pull her close and tell her everything will be okay, but I can’t. It would startle her. It lasts for another couple of minutes before she shoots up.“Serena, are you okay?”The sound of my voice makes her jump. “You frightened me. I am sorry, did I wake you?”“You have nothing to be sorry for. You were whimpering in your sleep.”“I had a bad dream, that’s all. I am fine. It is nothing for you to wo

SerenaSquealing Conall’s name one last time, my third orgasm of the night rips through me like a damn tornado, shaking my entire body. It has been too long since I have had sex, even longer since I last had good sex. I am a mess, completely weak. It is like an out-of-body experience. It isn’t my own and hasn’t been since the second Conall buried his tongue between my thighs to start us off. The man is talented in so many ways.Conall buries his face in my neck, groaning deeply and continues to thrust into me, aiming for his end. Pinning my hips to the mattress, he goes rough and rugged, his teeth sinking into my shoulder. With my nails scraping down his back, I use my words to encourage him. It is the only thing I have the energy to do.“Come for me, Conall,” I beg, kissing his neck.A growl rumbles in his throat. “I am close.”One, two, three more deep movements and his cock tenses inside of me. With a loud cry of my name, his climax hits, and he empties into the condom. Sex between
