Liam’s POV

The scandal surrounding Turner Empire was everywhere. The hashtag #TurnerFlop had taken over every social media platform. It was all anyone could talk about. News anchors, business analysts, and gossip blogs were ripping Trey apart.

Now, I finally understood why that idiot had called me. He had been trying to save himself. But it was too late.

I drove fast, passing through traffic as my grip tightened around the steering wheel. The city lights blurred past, my mind racing faster than the car. The closer I got to the venue, the harder my heart pounded.

When I finally arrived, the scene outside was chaos.

Dozens of reporters were gathered at the entrance, some yelling into microphones while others frantically tapped on their phones. Camera flashes lit up the night, and the security guards at the doors were struggling to hold them back.

"Mr. Musk! Mr. Musk!" One of the reporters spotted me and rushed forward. "Do you have a comment on Turner Empire’s present fallout?"

I didn’t

Daisy's POVLiam left the house early this morning. As soon as he got that phone call, his mood changed. He became quiet and distant. He didn’t say much to me, just that he had to go to the office for an urgent matter. But I could see it in his eyes—something wasn’t right. My heart told me he was in danger, and I wasn’t going to sit and do nothing. As soon as I stepped out of his room, I picked up my phone and called my driver.“Hello, Madam,” he answered politely.“Liam will be leaving soon . Please, place a tracker on his car. I have a bad feeling,” I said quietly, making sure no one else could hear me.“Understood, Madam. I’ll take care of it right away,” he replied.I ended the call and rushed to my room. I needed to get ready quickly. If my gut feeling was right, then the sooner I followed Liam, the better. I took a quick shower and dressed in black leggings and a long-sleeved cropped top. I slipped on a comfortable pair of sneakers, tied my hair into a bun, and wore dark sunglas

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 44

Liam's POVAs much as I wanted to spend all my time with Daisy, I got a call from Trey asking me to meet him at this warehouse downtown. It was strange. Trey had never asked me to meet him before, talkless of an actual location. But maybe he had something important to say, something he couldn’t share over the phone. Something about Daisy again. I didn’t want to be suspicious. He was my brother after all, or so I thought."I'm here, where are you?" I asked, my eyes flickering around. The place felt odd—dusty, cold, and quiet. You could hear the sound of anything that moves. There were broken glass pieces scattered on the floor, and cobwebs hung from the corners of the ceiling. It looked like no one had stepped foot in this place for years. I took a few careful steps forward. My gut told me something was off. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I quickly turned around, but before I could see anything clearly, everything went dark.Did I fall asleep?"My head... Uggghhh... What's going on?

Trey's POVI'm starting to feel like Anna was sent tonight to ruin all my damn plans, because why the hell does she keep calling me every now and then? Like seriously, what does she want now? Attention? A man to cry to? I already told her I had things to do. Made it clear too. She’s not stupid—she should take a goddam hint. Now back to the real issue—Daisy.“Goddamn it, where is she?” I muttered, running a frustrated hand through my hair, my eyes scanning every inch of the ballroom. My mind was going crazy. “And where the hell is Liam too?” I stormed toward the table where they’d been sitting earlier. Empty. The table looked untouched, like they’d just vanished. Just disappeared into thin air. My jaw clenched.“Oh my gosh, that dance from President Daisy and her husband was something else.....so intense,” one of the female guests giggled behind me, her voice loud and excited like a teenage girl watching a rom-com.“I bet you if we weren’t here, Liam would've stolen more than just a ki

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 42

Daisy's POV"Liam, are you okay? You're burning up," I said in a trembling voice, placing the back of my hand gently across his forehead. He was sweating and looked weak, his face was pale and his eyes barely open.He suddenly grabbed my hand, his fingers warm and trembling."Kiss me... kiss me now," he whispered, his voice low and rough. I bit my bottom lip. For so long, I had imagined what it would feel like to kiss him. I wanted it. I craved it. But now, with him sick and not thinking clearly, it felt like I might be taking advantage of him."We need to take care of your fever first," I said, trying to change the subject and ignore the heat in my chest. I closed my eyes for a moment, trying to think clearly. Should I call the doctor? Should I take him to the hospital? My mind was a mess. I didn’t know what to do.Then, without warning, I felt something soft press against my lips.My eyes flew open.Liam was actually kissing me.My heart nearly exploded in my chest. I froze, shocked

Liam's POVThank God the waiter finally came over with drinks. I was really thirsty, and I could tell Daisy was too. But something felt strange—why did she get champagne and I got juice? That didn’t make any sense. While she wasn’t looking—just as she raised her glass to her lips and then put it back down—I quickly switched our drinks. I didn’t want her getting drunk tonight. It wasn’t the time or place for that. I immediately gulped mine down and turned my attention elsewhere like nothing had happened.“This is odd, why does this taste like juice?” Daisy mumbled under her breath. My ears picked it up easily. I looked at her glass, then at her face. A small smile crept up on my lips and she noticed it.She rolled her eyes at me and then took another sip. A few moments later, our attention was pulled away by the event's MC.“Ladies and gentlemen,” she began in a loud, sassy voice that didn’t quite match the fancy event. “Why don’t we get this party started!” she yelled. She nodded towa

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 40

Trey’s POVI’ve been waiting the whole damn week for Liam’s feedback. Every day, I checked my phone, hoping he would message me, but nothing. It was like he vanished. No calls, no texts—nothing. And now I was running out of patience. Maybe I needed to remind him what was at stake. He must have forgotten what he stands to lose.As I sat in the café, pretending to enjoy the view, my attention shifted to the girls behind me. They were giggling and talking too loudly, but I didn’t care until I heard Liam’s name.“Oh my God! I just saw the most romantic thing ever,” one of the girls squealed.“Sir Liam Musk proposed to his wife again! It was so epic. They make such a sweet couple,” another girl added, sounding like she might cry from excitement. My fists clenched. So while I was sitting here like a fool waiting for his feedback, he was out there playing the perfect husband. Proposing again? What the hell was he trying to prove?I pulled out my phone, pressing the screen so hard I thought i

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 39: Am I dreaming?

Daisy's POV"What did you just say? You want a divorce?" I asked, my voice shaking, eyes wide with shock as the words echoed in my head. I couldn’t believe what I just heard from Liam. Was this a joke?"Liam, what is wrong with you? If you have a problem, talk to me about it. For the past few days, I don't understand what is going on with you," I said, lashing out, unable to hold it in any longer. I was confused. Everything felt like it was crumbling right in front of me. But Liam just sat there, quiet, not offering a single word. His silence was louder than any scream I could hear."Is this about what happened last night? Because I stopped you from leaving?" I asked again, trying to dig for answers, hoping I could understand what triggered this sudden decision."No, that’s not it!" Liam shook his head, his voice low. But still, he couldn't look me in the eyes. He turned away, and that hurt more than his words."Then tell me, Liam! What is going on? Did I do something wrong? If I said

Liam's POV"Well well well, I'll be damned," I mocked, raising my head. "If it isn't the great and powerful opps..." I paused for dramatic effect, watching his reaction. "I meant the great and fallen Trey Baker." A mocking smirk stretched across my face. I could see it in his eyes, the way his jaw clenched and how his nostrils flared. He was biting his teeth in anger, and I loved it.I slammed a heavy stack of paperwork on my desk. "These are for you. I need them in four hours," I said, my voice stern and cold.To my surprise, Trey didn’t even flinch. He just stood there, hands in his pocket, looking at me like I was nothing. His gaze was insulting. I sighed, my brows twitching together slowly. My eyes didn’t leave his.He chuckled dryly. "You don't expect me to stoop so low to doing your paperwork, do you? What do you think I am? Some dumb errand boy?" He took his hand out of his pocket and laughed loudly. I knew what he was doing. He was trying to get under my skin.I clenched my ja

  • Dear Ex, I Want Your Brother    Chapter 37: The Aftermath

Liam’s POVThis is really bad.I knew my aunt would be angry, but I never thought she would leave the country. Not like this. She didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself. One minute she was here, and the next, she was gone—like smoke in the wind. But I don’t care if I have to follow her across the globe. I will find her.I stood in the hospital hallway, my stomach fluttering. My legs felt weak, but I forced myself to walk toward the reception area and take a seat. I had to meet Jason here after a few minutes, and I didn’t want to miss him.I stared at the white tiles on the floor, my mind racing. How did everything go so wrong?“Hey,” someone tapped me from behind, pulling me out of my thoughts. I quickly turned, and there he was—Jason.“Did you find her?” he asked, taking a seat beside me. His voice was hopeful, but I didn’t know how to answer. I didn’t want to crush him with the truth, but he deserved to know.“She’s gone,” I said softly, my head hanging low, eyes locked on m
