There was darkness and silence in the room when I walked in. I began taking off my clothes, wondering where Frederick was.

"Fred?" I called out to him but got no reply. I put on the lights and took a deep breath.

"You decided to disregard me and go for that ceremony," I heard Fred say and turned in the direction I heard his voice. He was seated in a corner in the room and I had not noticed him.

"You..." I wanted to ask why he remained quiet even when I called out to him but decided there was no point since it was not likely he would even answer me. Besides, he looked livid and I had to address the matter on the ground.

"Fred you know there was no way I couldn't go. My father asked that I do. He told you to come along too but you refused."
