Emily woke up the next following morning to Joshua stroking her hair. She thought it was like a fairytale dream as he was brushing her to wake in his arms. It was one of the sweetest dream to ever wake up to. She smiled thinking that it was a beautiful dream indeed.

“What are you smiling about?” asked Joshua.

“Hmm, that this is a sweet dream.”

“Then I hope that from this day forth your reality will be like this sweet dream.” He gently kissed her on the lips.

Emily chuckled. How sweet it would be, she thought. If they could stay like this. But like all dreams everyone would need to wake up. She held his hands and placed it over her heart.

Joshua can feel Emily’s steady heartbeat. He held her in his arms and said, “Emily, let’s start over.”

Emily frowned at him.

“I’m serious. Everything you thought you knew. Everything about me and Megan-”
