Stephen’s POV

.

If she wouldn’t have been Lina’s mother. I would have ripped her head off right then and there. Lina lost her consciousness too quickly compared to any werewolf. That was when I smelled the scent of wolfbane. I looked at the dagger that Mom had held. It was laced with wolfsbane. It meant that the moment it would have entered Lina’s blood, her wolf would have gotten into a deep slumber.

And this was not good news.

Not when she was injured because, without her wolf, there was no chance that this wound could heal soon. I examined her wound. It was on the lower abdomen because if the dagger had hit her Liver or any upper part of the abdomen, then the situation would have been worst and might have caused instant death.

And in that case, I could have felt that Thunder would have felt.

Thankfully the doctor arrived, wearing all black. Of course, he would also be here after all the pack members gather around the packhouse for the funeral.

“Beta, Stephen!! We will have to

Thank you for showering so much love in the previous part. I cried for 3-4 hours to write that single part because the part recalled me of my situation when I lost my father all of a sudden, and there were a lot of things left unsaid between us. Deep down, I always feel regret for not him knowing that I never told him that he was the best father and that I loved him so much. Just a little piece of advice: 'Let your loved ones know your feelings before they are gone.'

  • Deceiving the Beta   Chapter 37

Aleena’s POV.“It seems like you have learned a lot of things in the future.”, He said, crying and grinning happily.“I…I’m not from the future.”, I lied bluntly.“Sweetheart, I’m not that intelligent like you, but at least don’t think me dumb.”, he joked, on which I bit my inner cheeks to stop myself from admitting it. “Your hair… “, he paused before continuing, “... is now longer than the Aleena who just went on a date.”He observed that?“Well, it wasn’t just Stephen, but I was also observing you went you were walking toward him. It was just that there was a time that you were not able to walk properly without help, and your legs used to tremble while walking, and today you were taking long and confident steps.”, he added. “On the top, I know the power of Eva.”I tried not to cry but started crying, “Yes, I’m from the future. And I had to say a lot of things to you.”, I cried, hugging him tightly in my arms.”“Sure!! I’m all yours to listen.”*After a few hours!!In between this,

Aleena’s POV.Immediately something struck my head. Eva could time travel, right? She had the power to do that. Then could she send me to the past? On the night when dad had died?‘Eva, Can you send me to the past by using your power?’ I asked my sister through the mind link, which where was connected because of blood.‘Yes! I can do that. But what happened? Why …. Hold on, you want to meet dad, don’t you?’‘Yes! I… I never got a chance to say three things to him ‘sorry, thank you, and I love you. And I will have to stay my whole life with this guilt. So, can you please, please help me?’‘Let me inform my mate before disappearing all of a sudden. He would go insane.’, She said, not denying my request.‘Are we leaving now?’‘Yes.’, She closed the mind-link after saying that. Now that she had to inform her mate. I thought to inform mine, but something came across my mind, and I didn’t.‘Let’s see how he will react when I disappear all of a sudden.’‘What the hell. You’re thinking of to

  • Deceiving the Beta   Chapter 35

Aleena’s POV.One month later!!.“So, this area of the pack’s security needed to be increased.”, I explained to both my Beta Noah and Head Warrior, Hudson, about it, to which they nodded.Yes! You read it, right! Hudson chose to become the Head Warrior of both the packs. During these two months, I realized that he didn’t give to any position. I didn’t know the real reason behind it, but Leia sensed that Hudson’s wolf was Alpha by blood. Except for this, no one knew a thing about him. No surname, no pack name, from where he landed in Fire Cross Pack, no one knew about it.He was mysterious but loyal, and if we are talking about his mate, Paige. Then she had cleared that she wouldn’t reject him until he gave her the reason for rejection. At the same time, she wasn’t someone who would cry at the thought that her mate wanted to reject her but was one of them who tortured her mate by making him jealous all the time by hanging out with Noah.I hope her plan will backfire on her.“Lina,” M

  • Deceiving the Beta   Chapter 34

Stephen’s POV.Her eyes landed on mine, and I could see the need for me in the depth of her beautiful eyes.“Stephen,” She cried out. “Please stop the pain.”I climbed onto the bed and reached near her, caressing her face, removing hairs from her face, and in the next moment, she grabbed my neck and slammed her lips against mine while her hand started touching all over my body. I held her hand and broke the kiss.“Not in this way, Lina.”, I said, shaking my head. “You want me just because of the heat.”, I added, on which she kept looking at me in pain for a while. And then pulled her hand from my grip, flipped our position, and sat on my abdomen. She started grinding her pussy against my cock, but I could feel the thin wet cloth of her panties between her pussy and my cock, and that was irritating the hell out of me.“I…. I have pills to control the heat, but I waited for you. And do you still think that ….”, She held my hand and made it touch over her thighs “....that I want you bec

  • Deceiving the Beta   Chapter 33

Aleena’s POV.I tried to mind link Stephen again, but I couldn’t. Why was that?He had asked me to wear this, but he hadn’t mentioned the time. I meant, when was he planning to take me with him?I was feeling tired, so should I rest for a while or get ready immediately? I tried to mind link Paige as well, but I couldn’t.That reminded me that I had now taken the position of Alpha in Fire Cross Pack, which was another pack. If one wouldn’t break the link with his or her previous pack, then the link automatically gets a break after twelve hours. That was why I was not able to connect with Stephen first, not Paige.‘I started missing his voice in our mind already.’, Leia whined as if I was enjoying this news.‘Then why don’t you complete the mark and mate with him?’, She asked, on which I ignored her.“Paige?” I yelled, hoping she to listen to it after she was a werewolf. “Can you please come to my room?” I added and sat on the bed. After a while, she walked with a smile on her face.I

  • Deceiving the Beta   Chapter 32

Aleena’s POV . “Noah! Let everyone in the pack know that Eva is fine! I’m sure a lot of pack members would be worried for her.” “Okay. Alpha.” he nodded his head. “By the way, you’re here? Is it because to know Eva’s situation?” I asked, arching my brow. “No, Alpha. I have updated the status of the pack.”, he corrected me. Well, What could I say! I was still new to all these things. “I have done a headcount of the warriors we lost, and we have lost four warriors from this pack and seven warriors of Stone Moon pack.” “Oh!”, I mumbled. I couldn’t feel that because I hadn’t taken an oath until now. Because as an Alpha, in case of death of any pack member, he or she could feel the pain. “And how many are injured?” I asked. “Yes! I was coming to that part. Around 12 warriors are injured of this pack and 19 warriors pf Stone Moon pack.” “Hmm. Prepare for the funeral for the warriors that sacrificed their life and ….” I paused before speaking, “Do whatever you used to do with the fami
