Postlude: Chapter 16

Dimitri

After much deliberation and finally hearing Sergei out, Dimitri made up his mind and called a meeting the following day. He had hoped that Francesco would see this as a peace offering and leave it at that. His family would not suffer because of an indiscretion they were not a part of.

It was nearing the anticipated meeting and Dimitri had to admit that he was nervous.
