“Felice! Oh my god, what happened?!” Maia shouted when I went to them. I bit my lip hard as I was looking at my daughter who was obviously confused. I was still panting and I kept on looking back to see if Greg followed me or what. Shit.

“Uhh, l-let’s go. Let’s go home!” Panicking, I grabbed Flannel’s hand and almost ran to the mall’s entrance already.

“Mommy, my toys!” Flannel tugged my hand. I looked at her and she looked like she was about to cry already.

She then sighed and nodded at me. “Go, I’ll get the toy.”

I sighed in relief. “Thank you! Meet us at the entrance.”
