I parted my mouth open as Lukas sat on his knees. My hands immediately flew towards my mouth, slapping over it. Was he going to propose to me? But it was too soon. We did not go through the entire courting thing yet or whatever that is.

Talia doesn't think things through at all. How could she not think it's important that someone was able to come to Hell without permission? This reminds me of her getting lost in the woods and being mad at Lukas for pointing out that it was stupid.

I bet it’s Jaxon! He’s probably some earth angel and that’s how he got into hell to get to her since everybody else on earth had their memories wiped clean of her existence
