Chapter twenty eight

(MELANIE POV):

I woke up from my nap only to find my sister just coming in. I rubbed my fingers against my eyes and then looked at my sister again, sitting up at the same time.

"Where have you been all this time?" I asked her and she shook as if just waking up from a deep thought.

"Why are you so shaky? Did you steal something again?" I asked her but she only frowned at me.

"It's not every minute i steal you know." she replied.

"Really? Then i guess you just got yourself a new wallet right?" I asked her.

She hastily looked in her right hand and saw that she was holding a wallet. She laughed nervously and scratched the back of her head while i looked on.

"Seriously Delanie. When will you ever learn?" i said.

"It still doesn't mean i steal every minute. This one was from almost an hour ago." she replied.

I was about to say something else to Delanie when heard Mr Levinson suddenly called out for me.

"This conversation is not over." I told my sister, stood up and left the dressing room.
