 We began giggling as we ran when we successfully got out of school, we slowed down to catch our breath when we were out of sight, I could not stop looking around to make sure that nobody was around us, she seemed unphased like she was not experiencing any bit of fear at all.

‘’It was fun escaping school.’’ I asserted.

‘’I know, right? It was so easy, get ready for the sweetest part of this adventure, want to race?’’ She inquired.

My eyes widened and I started fidgeting when I realized that she was referring to us shifting into our wolf form, I had not been able to summon courage to tell her that I was unable to shift.

‘’I think that is a bad idea.’’ I pointed out, trying as much as possible for my voice not to sound shaky.

She scrunched her brows in confusion and inquired, ‘’Why?’’
