Chapter 14: A warning

Eric POV

I watched the guy pull her out before I let out a sigh. Kahlan is always making me rethink every time.

Sometimes, I want to get angry and just teach her a big lesson but then, something else would kick in. I mean I'm not entirely right and she's not entirely right.

She has the right to be upset. Would I have done less than that? Well, I would never forgive anyone if they hurt my family and my pack at that.

What Hardin did was very wrong and because he was my brother, making this thing was very difficult.

Was I supposed to weigh war on Hardin?

This was why I switched very quickly, from anger to sober. But most times, it's annoying.

"Thinking hard?" A deep voice reached my ears suddenly.

I let out a sigh. I didn't need to turn to know who it was anyways. I've been hearing that voice for the past thirty years of my life.

"This isn't funny, Hardin. What are you on about today?" I asked as I turned around to look at him.
