Chapter 44

"I'm back," Jason said walking into the house. He left after breakfast to meet Ethan as they had things to discuss regarding his pack and also Ethan needed his help with the change in the interior of his restaurant.

I walked up to him and dropped a kiss on his cheek. My hands had flour on them. I was in an apron with my hair tied up in a messy bun.

Jason grabbed my nape before kissing me on the lips. "That's how you're supposed to greet me, baby," he husked in his baritone voice as I gaped at him stunned. His bold acts like this one and his dominating personality which he was showing me bit by bit were making me all mushy for him.

"I'll freshen up," He said walking away.

I hurried back into the kitchen and prepared dinner. I set the table as he descended the stairs dressed in sweats and a shirt.
