Chapter 47

Jason's pov

After April got off as I watched her walking down the street. Her brown locks were up in a ponytail and she looked radiant and excited.

I smiled seeing her walking to her dream.

I recalled the day she should have appeared at the university: when I finally regained freedom from my father after the vacation I spent with April. I tried my best but I couldn't find April anymore and those days were so heart-wrenching.

When I was almost desperate, it occurred to me that once when we talked, April told me that her dream is to study at the Capital university, and I told her that if I was a good doctor, maybe I could've saved my mother, she comforted me and told me that I can still save a lot of families. But then I realized I wanted to become a doctor so that I could look after a little rogue girl named April.

And that was the moment she planted the seed of this dream into my heart to be a doctor, protect her, and save her from any harm. We agreed to meet at Capital University.
