Blair's POV -

As we struggled to the surface, his arms held me tightly. It was at that moment I looked into the most gorgeous pair of blue eyes I had ever seen.

My heart started racing, and I almost stopped breathing. Everything stood still. I could not see or feel anything else other than this magnificent man standing front of me. So beautiful, would be too feminine. He was surging masculine energy.

His wet and messy black hair, fell over his forehead almost covering his eyes. He was way taller than me, and almost three times my width. He had the body of a warrior, cut from years of training. He was shirtless, and the water glistened on his wet body. This man was driving my wolf crazy.

He had the kind of face that could stop you in your tracks, it was finely cut with a perfect jawline.

"Mate! mate! Mate!" My wolf screamed within me.

I was suddenly wet, not from falling into the pool, but I was wet down there.

Those blue eyes were still glued on me, I knew he had already recognized me as his mate.

"No! This can't be happening." I thought to myself. My day had already been ruined

'Fuck!'

His perfect lips enticed me, as I longed to kiss them. They curled into a sexy smile, and said. "Sure dear, I can't wait mate."

Damn his voice was incredible! I nearly orgasmed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you this way." I heard myself squeaking.

He raised an eyebrow. I became extremely nervous, I had to run, leave... do something.... anything.

I suddenly jerked back, slipping out of his hold. Without looking back, I climbed out of the pool in the most shameful manner ever, but I didn't care. I had to leave.

My wolf was angry, but I had to run. I could hear him closely behind me, but I just ignored and fled towards the living room, with my dress dripping wet.

Ignoring all the questionable glances I was getting from people, I grabbed Olivia and panted.

"We need to leave now!!"

"What? Why? You're so wet , what happened?" She asked puzzled.

"We need to please. I can't stay here any longer." I pleaded.

There was a commotion in the crowd. I knew he was looking for me, coming to mark me as his Luna. I dragged Olivia outside, and ran towards our car.

"Blair! What about Antonio?" She yelled.

"Well he is a grown wolf, and can take care of himself. Just get me out of here!!!"

She started the engine as my chest panted, catching my breath.

No no no....I yelled repeatedly.

We were on the highway when Olivia received a call from Antonio, explaining to him how I took off as if I had come in contact with a ghost.

"Care to explain what happened?" She asked annoyed, my wet dress soaking up her car seat was not helping.

"I ran into a guy." I swallowed hard, trying to calm down my wolf who was angrily trying to get out .

"So? Was it that bad that you had to runaway?"

"He's my mate." I said quietly.

"What the hell!" Olivia blurted, and nearly dashed the car into a nearby tree.

"Look ahead!" I screamed as we narrowly missed a tree.

Olivia pulled over, and turned off the ignition.

"We must go back to the party." She said sternly.

"Are you nuts?" I yelled.

"Can you recognize him? " She asked cautiously.

"I don't want to know Olivia, why are you asking by the way?" I whispered, absentmindedly.

My wolf was howling within me." How could you leave our mate." She cribed.

"Look, let's act like this never happened. Do not tell this to anyone. I can control my wolf. My mate, or whoever that man thinks he is, must not find me . I'm leaving oval moon pack in a few weeks times anyway, so I guess he'd forget me after I'm gone." I announced.

Olivia snorted, "In case you haven't noticed, that's not how it works. Now that he knows you exist, he'd search for you everywhere. He'd not leave you alone until you submit!!"

"Great" I slumped back into my seat.

"Now he's gonna stalk me." I said said sarcastically.

"Maybe it's possible he doesn't want a mate either right? After not seeing me for long he'd leave me alone right?" I asked hopefully.

"Highly unlikely, not all werewolves are weirdos like you." Olivia taunted.

"I'm not a weirdo, I'm being reasonable. I'm a smart rational person, capable of making my own decisions. I don't rely on fate, or your so called destiny." I boasted.

"An don't talk about this incident to anyone you hear me?" I warned , as Olivia resumed driving.

Aiden's POV -

I could smell her near the poolside. My wolf was restless. I glanced at the crowd of people frolicking, but it was difficult to pinpoint among the crowd.

I rushed toward her, her scent was like nothing I had ever smelled before; it was sweet, fresh and wonderful. If I could only smell one thing in the whole world, forever, it would be her heavenly scent. I could live off her scent alone.

As enticing as her scent was, it could not even compare to how electrifying I felt when her skin first touched mine. It was heavenly.

My body was on fire with desire, as I felt a desperate need to be closer to her body. My whole world had come to a halt, and now rotated around this celestial being.

It happened so fast. I didn't mean to bump into her, but I guess It was destiny. As we fell into the pool, I snaked my hand up her back, and wrapped my fingers through her hair, at the base of her head. My lips rested against her neck for a second, and that was enough sign for me to know that she was my mate.

Her soft skin rested perfectly against my chest, confirming that she was made for me.

The only thing that could make this moment more enjoyable, was for her to reciprocate those powerful emotions. I could barely control myself, as her hazel eyes gazed into mine.

"Mine!" My wolf roared.

She's mine. My heart was filled with joy as this beautiful, exquisite creature was mine.

It took a split second, to go from this euphoric bliss of her touch, to the harsh reality of why she was not returning my love.

She looked at me with horror in her eyes, then she ran away, hurrying out of the pool.

"Don't let her leave!!" My wolf thundered .

Had I scared her? Why was she running away?

"Hey wait." I tried to stop her. That seemed to make her run faster.

"What did you do to her Aiden?" Michael my long time friend teased me.

"Well nothing yet." I grinned.

"You've scared her off haven't you?" Michael laughed.

My beta , Damon was now standing by my side as I got out of the pool.

"Are you alright boss?"

"I'm fine." I replied, getting ready to find my beautiful mate. I was not sure why she ran away, but I was not ready to let her go after ten years of being mate less. I had almost lost hope, till I finally met her today.

"You look troubled boss. Anything the matter?" Damon asked, passing me a towel.

"Did you see that girl in a white dress running past the pool?"

Damon nodded.

"She's my mate and your future Luna." I announced.

"What? " Damon looked surprised. "Why was she running though?"

"Not a clue yet. Maybe she wants to be chased the old fashioned way who knows. Find out everything about her ." I commanded, and went back into the house.

"How could you let her go, you know you want her." My wolf scolded me.

"Patience my dear, patience." I soothed my wolf.
