Pov Alpha Gideon:

I was sitting in my chair, savoring a beautiful deer I had hunted for the afternoon lunch, when my beta entered through the door of the room, holding several papers. "I didn't know you had gone out hunting," he commented, observing the dead deer on the table.

"I can't stand those frozen foods they sell in the human world anymore. We're so used to them that many of us lose the thrill of the hunt, but I refuse to lose that!" I replied, taking a bite of a rich thigh of meat.

"Some humans spotted a wolf running around the forest nearby. We need to be more careful. You know how unpredictable humans can be. Some say the wolf was huge and could be a werewolf that emerged from the depths of hell to torment us," Josh spoke, throwing the folder in my direction.

I let out a sarcastic laugh. "Humans are so stupid. They always resort to mysticism. They have no idea of the number of supernatural creatures living around them, hidden. But for them, wolves like us are just legends."
