Luxian POV.

I didn’t listen.

Cris told me to stay put.

Told me not to open the door for anyone—not even him or Damien.

But he never said what to do when my chest started burning.

When the mark over my heart glowed hot like it was alive.

When I felt Damien breaking, calling out to me, without a word.

I couldn’t just sit here and wait for someone to tell me he was gone.

Or worse… that he wasn’t Damien anymore.

So I ran.

Out the door. Through the forest.

Straight into the dark.

The trees whispered warnings I didn’t understand.

Branches scratched at my face. My lungs burned.

But none of it mattered.

Because the closer I got, the louder the voice in my head grew.

“Don’t come back…”

But I was already here.

I found him in the clearing, bathed in moonlight and blood.

Damien stood with his back to me, shoulders rising and falling like he was holding something back—or barely breathing.

“Damien…” I called gently.

He turned.

His eyes weren’t red.

They were black.

No whites. No pupils. Just… voi

  • Destined mate   What Survived the Flames

Third Person POVThe sky over the park house burned red.Not sunset.Fire.Damien felt it before he saw it—his chest tightening, his bond screaming in raw agony. The scent followed instantly.Smoke.Blood.Fear.“No,” he breathed.Cris was already running. The gates were shattered, iron twisted like broken bones. The once-proud estate was engulfed in flames, black smoke clawing violently at the heavens. Bodies littered the grounds—guards, servants, wolves who had sworn loyalty with their lives.Too many. This wasn’t a raid. This was slaughter.“Luxian!” Damien roared, sprinting through the heat.Inside the ruins, Silver lay slumped against a fallen pillar, blood soaking through his clothes. His breaths were shallow. Fading.Sloth knelt beside him, hands trembling, his power flickering erratically—unstable, unraveling.“They… stabbed him,” Sloth rasped, voice breaking. “The bond— they used it. I couldn’t— I couldn’t hold them—”“Focus, Sloth!” Cris barked, dropping beside Silver. “He’s

  • Destined mate   This Was Never the End

Damien POV: Cris and Ashiel burst into the library. I was a mess—frustrated, scared, helpless. Luxian couldn’t know; this would destroy him.“Calm down, Damien. We’ll find him,” Ashiel said, trying to steady me.“I’ll kill Leif myself,” Cris growled, dropping his laptop onto the desk as he scanned Viktor’s tracking data.“We can’t let the boys know,” I said after a long silence.“Yes. If they see this… it will break them,” Ashiel agreed.I ran a hand through my hair, exhaustion weighing me down. I thought we were winning. I thought we had control. How did I miss this?“Cris, you said you put trackers on Fred, right?”“Already tracking him. Won’t take long,” Cris replied, eyes never leaving the screen.Silver entered, bowing nervously. “I… I’m sorry. Stella escaped. I don’t know how—she just vanished.”“What do you mean ‘escaped’?” Anger bubbled in me. Valekar and Kaelric surged beneath my skin, sensing my fury.“They didn’t just escape,” Silver stammered, shrinking behind Sloth. “B

Cris POV — Ken sat on the bed, scrolling through his phone. I sat close to him, resting my hand lightly on his arm.“Hey, bug,” I called softly, making him look up. His smile warmed me instantly.“Hey, baby… you’ve been busy lately.”“I’m sorry… I’ve been giving you space,” I said slowly.“No… it’s fine. I’m at fault too.” He dropped his phone on the bed and leaned closer. “I haven’t told you about my family… all their messed-up stories.” He chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.“It’s fine, you don’t have to tell me, bug. We’re your family now. Besides… they don’t deserve you anyway.” I smiled.“Thanks… but there’s nothing special about them. We’re a big family, and they all fight over the heir of the business. Derick and I… we like men, so we never get a chance at it anyway.” He sighed.“You don’t need them,” I said, squeezing his hand. “I’m here for you, and I always will be.”He pulled me into a hug. That’s when a faint, different scent reached me. I froze.“Hold on…” I murmured,

Third Person POV — LeifLeif sat on the cracked throne, turning a puzzle piece between his fingers.Dmitri watched him for a long moment before sighing.“Our plans are failing, and you’re here playing games?”“You worry too much,” Leif replied lazily.“Your ignorance will destroy you,” she snapped, anger bleeding into her voice. “I shouldn’t have dragged myself into this mess.”Leif rose slowly and dropped the puzzle onto the desk.“You talk too much, Dmitri. What did I tell you?” He smiled as he lifted a glass of blood. “The more you know, the shorter your usefulness.”With a flick of his finger, Wraith-born emerged from the shadows, standing silently behind her.“What are you doing?” Dmitri shouted. “I’m your partner!”“I told you to stay pretty and keep your mouth shut,” Leif sighed, sipping his blood. “But you keep testing my patience.”He tilted his head. “I’m done with you.”Her scream echoed as they dragged her away.Leif exhaled. “That was exhausting.”“Master,” a rogue said f

  • Destined mate   Ambition in Chains

Third Person POV — The DungeonThe dungeon was cold.Chains hung from the stone walls, iron carrying the faint scent of rust and old blood. Torches flickered, casting shadows that stretched and twisted like living things.Stella and Bianca were tied to chairs at the center of the room.Bianca was already shaking, eyes swollen from crying.Stella, however, sat straight-backed, chin lifted in pride, as though she still believed she belonged above them all.Damien stood before her in silence. That silence was worse than screaming.“You’re really going to sit there and pretend this is beneath you?” Cris asked coldly.Stella smiled faintly.“I earned my place here,” she said. “You can’t treat me like this. I’m your Luna.”Damien crouched slowly in front of her.“Let’s cut to the chase,” he said calmly. “Why did you kill our mothers?”Stella’s eyes flickered—but she said nothing.“Power,” Damien continued evenly. “The throne. The title. The future you thought your son deserved.”“That thron

  • Destined mate   Even the Dark Was Welcome

Ashiel POVI don’t know what the hell is wrong with me.No matter what I do, I can’t get Derick out of my head. I’ve tried ignoring him, drowning myself in work, focusing on the chaos around us—but nothing works. And the worst part? I don’t even understand why I’m avoiding him. It’s confusing. Frustrating.Dangerous.Derick walked up to me, his smile easy and warm, brown eyes bright in a way that made my chest tighten.“You’ve been busy?” he asked softly.“Huh—” I cleared my throat. “I’m… looking for Silver.” I avoided his eyes.“Oh.” He smiled wider. “He’s in the servants’ quarters. Did you know his mate is Sloth?”“Sloth?” I repeated.“Yeah. They had a heated argument earlier.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Silver didn’t know they were mates. When he found out… well, it wasn’t pretty. And Sloth’s real name is Caleb.”As he spoke, my eyes kept drifting back to him—to the way he smiled, the way he absentmindedly ran his fingers through his hair. I caught myself smiling too.I didn’
