After Dimitri left, Adelina took my hand and escorted me to a private room where we could chat without any distractions. I could not believe this was happening. She is my mother?!

All this time I thought that my parents were probably dead and that is why I was given up; all this time she has been here living a good life while I struggled at home with my foster parents who cared for me enough to never give up on me.
