If I had known

Phoenix woke up with a pounding headache as he slid down the bed, he turned to the other side but Sasha wasn't by his side.

He sighed.

He dressed up and left for home. His parents had traveled for some 'important meeting" as they would always say. Phoenix never spent time with his parents while growing up, they would leave very early in the morning and return late at night but never bothered about his life affairs only his studies.

On his birthday they would send him lots of gifts and money possibly throw a party but they were never around, but he had gotten used to it over the years. Every morning he would wake up to find a letter and an envelope with lots of cash inside.

"Good morning son, here is a little token for your upkeep. Be a good boy we love you"

He walked into the bathroom to cool off, droplets of water ran down his body as he turned the shower on while the memories of what happened last night came flashing back into his mind
