Wrong signal

"I have to get out of this place" Betty hissed as she threw herself on the bed.

Nix fell into deep thought as he drove away from Thor's home. He didn't know why but he felt a sudden transient rush of anger within him, all he did was to make Betty fall through but it seemed she became tougher by the minute she wasn't the easygoing Betty of foretime. She had changed but still, it was her fault. Nix knew the kind of person Betty was, she took things the wrong way and so lacked the sense of understanding or rather she wouldn't even listen or hear you out that was why he decided to go roughly on her to break her down.

His thoughts were disrupted by the vibrant ringing of his phone.

"Lin" he sighed.

He forgot about his date with her today and right now he wasn't just in the mood for food and drinks.

"Hey".

"Hey, how are you" Miss Lin responded nicely over the phone.

"Not good just need some break"

"So does it mean our date is canceled?" she asked

Nix paused

"Hope you aren't annoyed?" he a
