Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View
Fuck, as always, I was wrong – my life… has not gotten any better.
“We finally found you,” the unnaturally big man hovered over me as his saliva was disgustingly getting everywhere.
I was afraid, however, in situations like this – you must never show how intimidated you are. “What? Who the fuck are you?” I asked with my chin held high, my chest puffed up to somehow convince myself I’m strong enough to go against them.
The guy turned around to scoff at the hooligans with him, then he turned to me – “Ha! Did you really think cutting your hair and disguising yourself as a man is enough to fool us?”
“Fuck, I didn’t think they’d find me this fast,” I thought as I bit my lips in frustration. “I promise I’ll pay it back – seriously, I will this time!” I exclaimed as I put my hands together in front of me.
In the back of my mind, I was already brewing a master plan to escape again – even if it means I need to go to another pack’s territory. I’m not marked by any pack, and neither am I a rogue.
“Bitch, I know what you’re thinking about – you better stop it right now,” the man threatened – I froze up, can I possibly run at this moment?
“But!” I flinched as he suddenly yelled out – “Wh-what?” I asked, still in shock.
“We found a great alternative – it’ll work out! All of us will get what we want,” he leaned closer as he smiled – mischievously at that.
I sheepishly smiled – well, I can only hope they’d only make me wash dishes or something. I mean, we can all get something good from that – can’t we?
And boy was I wrong, I frowned as I looked back at the men waving their hands enthusiastically and smiling as if there was no tomorrow.
“Are they that happy? To basically rebrand me as a slave?” I mutter as I kicked the rocks on the way to the entrance of the pack’s castle – if that’s how it’s called.
Several people were with me, we were being tied up as we walked in unison.
Basically, what’s happening is that servants serving the pack’s castle get a pretty good salary – loan sharks most often get the people who won’t pay their loans and admit them to the pack’s castle.
The wages would end up being given to these loan sharks instead of us, and we are meant to serve the castle for life.
I sigh, “They didn’t even give us a single drop of water in the past two days. We may survive longer than humans, but we still suffer like humans!” I thought as I wanted to get out of these restraints.
“Hey, did you hear?” My ears perked up as the people behind me started gossiping as we were entering the castle.
“The youngest Alpha is searching for his mate – they say she disappeared when the youngest Alpha saw her at the ceremony,” I almost choked in my own saliva.
“He couldn’t have searched for me, he was clearly having fun with other women,” I thought as I suddenly felt insecure – I’m just hoping my pheromone inhibitors seriously work.
As I was looking down, the guards frowned as he looked at me – I almost flinched as he strode towards me.
“You! Be quiet and follow me,” he gestured at me – I looked around, was he seriously talking to me?
Before I knew it, he was already several steps ahead of me – one of the men took my restraints off, and I had to follow the scarily buff man. I didn’t want to; however, I had no choice.
Within the castle, we went through unnecessarily humungous hallways and doors. The place felt like it was worth a billion gold in every nook and cranny.
The frames of every door were laced with gold, and the rooms – although I haven’t entered – were obviously twice the standard size of a common wolf’s home. Everything screamed of luxury, something I’d never even got a glimpse of before.
“Must be nice to be born wealthy,” I thought as I walked behind the man obediently.
Before I knew it, my face had already kissed the man’s back… hard rock back. I winced as I held my nose, “How can a wolf become a boulder of rock in a split second?”
I looked forward; to see the man had already knelt on the ground. Upfront, there was a man leisurely sipping tea as he sat by the veranda. I was slightly captivated as his jet black hair got illuminated by the sun’s afternoon rays.
His face looked quite familiar…
“Down!” The buff man forcefully pulled me down – I could feel my knee caps shifting in their place. I could only hold my breath as my forehead kissed the floor; the pain was unbearable.
“Ugh,” I grunted as I tried to stop the urge to scream out. I momentarily got dizzy and started sweating profusely – I didn’t even look up after that.
“I’m gruntled to see you brought me another servant, Kimur – however, I don’t think I really need him,” the man spoke out as faint coughs interrupted him here and there.
I looked beside me to see the buff man with a pitiful look on his face – he looked like a lost puppy, he was almost pouting.
“But Alpha-,” he was interrupted by the man in front, “I told you not to call me that, Kimur – I am not worthy of being called an Alpha.”
I was far too curious – I looked up and stared at the man for the longest time. I swear I’ve seen him before – however, I just can’t seem to put my mind into remembering.
“M-master Zonner,” Kimur sounded disgruntled – however, I was too shocked to comprehend anything. This man, right in front of me, is the brother of the mate whom is destined to reject me.
I put my head down again, “Fuck, I shouldn’t have followed him.”
I’ll have a foot inside my grave at all times at this point – even my pheromone inhibitors will stand no chance.
“Why did you choose him this time?” Zonner asked Kimur.
“Well, he looked too weak to be an assassin – anyone is fine as long as they can’t hurt you, master,” he replied.
Well, that kind of hurt – at least I don’t look like a threat, right?
Everything fell silent for a second, the atmosphere felt heavy for a reason. Maybe that was just me imagining things – anxiousness has not left me since the moment I entered the castle.
I mean, I am anxious every second but-
My thoughts were interrupted as Alpha Zonner suddenly spoke out,
“Hmm, fine, we’ll take him in this time.”
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of ViewAs I stood behind the man who’s supposed to assassinate Master Zonner – I couldn’t help but show my utter distaste. I knew Master Zonner could see as he has been staring straight at me since I started monitoring the said man’s moves carefully.Compared to what my dream showed me, the man seemed eerily calm. He was way more erratic in my dream – shouting and screaming about his opinions on the matters discussed.“I am very appreciative of the efforts of the Stylynx pack, we have formed great bonds ever since the establishment of our respective packs.”‘Indeed, it is strange – is he hiding something under his cunning smirk?’However, time passed by slowly and the man hasn’t done anything out of the ordinary. ‘Any time now..,’ I thought as I kept my eyes peeled for any hostile movements.I didn’t even notice the intense gaze of Master Zonner right ahead of me – and by the time I noticed, he already had his hands on the table. His gaze looked like i
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Nathan!” I snapped out of my trance as I looked up – Kimur had just called out to me.‘Was I dozing off?’I was standing right behind Master Zonner – our hands were touching as he had his large hand grasp mine. I slightly smiled, these touches are what I wake up in the morning for.Kimur had the nastiest glare aimed at me, I didn’t even bother to look at him. And for some reason, he’s on the opposite end of the table behind a random person I’ve never seen before. The sun was a hue of orange – it seems like the sun is about to set soon.It seemed like this is a meeting between Stylynx and Zensther…“We are the delegates to bring peace between Zensther and Stylynx.”Everyone had a serious look on their faces – probably wary of what the opposing pack is up to. Are they going to demand to get Maximus again? Even worse… what if they suddenly ask for my Master?‘I don’t think I’d be able to bear the pain…’“We will agree to all the terms laid before
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Nathan, wipe off that disgruntled expression on your face,” Kimur remarked as we sat down together to eat. How could I be pleased with what happened last night?I could only roll my eyes – my expression still cross as I couldn’t erase what happened.“Are you sure nothing happened with you and the Master last night?” Mama Enah asked – a question perhaps a little too innocent for my taste. Blood immediately rushed into my cheeks as I buried my head down on my plate.Yannah was sitting across from me, she was staring at me the whole time as I could no longer hide my expression. As I finished eating, Mama Enah took my plate away – and I knew it was time to go back to work. However, I didn’t have the energy to even get my head off of the table.I laid my head and looked sideways – I could only sigh…So, what really happened last night?*******The night was getting deeper, however, the only thing we’ve been doing was making out. And even if I wanted
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Are you sure the assassin went out through the window?” Kimur asked once again as he mobilized the castle’s troops.I nodded – still slightly shaken by the situation. As they were looking around for the assassin – heavy footsteps could be heard getting closer and closer. I almost flinched as it was a little too loud.“Nathan?!”I was slightly relieved as I saw Master Zonner enter the office safe and sound – I immediately get closer to check whether he had any hidden injuries.“Master, are you sure you’re fine?” I anxiously asked as I tried to see underneath his clothes – something I thought was normal through the months I’ve been serving him. However, unexpectedly – he pulled away as he had his hand over his mouth. I was confused, it was that unusual reaction again. Why does he almost look like he’s flustered?“M-Master-?” Before I could say anything else – the situation seemed to have flipped over.“Nathan! How could you put yourself in danger
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“We would like to raise a case about the disrespectful act we witnessed just yesterday – I’m sure everybody knows-,” he was about to snitch on me when we heard the loudest shout from outside the closed meeting hall.“News has come from Zensther! News has come from Zensther,” the announcer was screaming out loud as the doors burst open.Almost everyone was wincing as they covered their ears – the ears of a wolf can be sensitive to sound. However, I’ve never had such problems… so I guess this lack in prowess is to my advantage as well.“How dare you-?!” The old man from earlier rose as he was frowning – he must’ve seriously wanted to lessen Master Zonner’s servants.Considering how every servant before me except for the Melgor family quit – it must’ve been because of them.“Alpha, the Zensther pack has officially conceded their defeat!” My eyes widened – confused yet overwhelmed with happiness.I look over to Kimur to somewhat confirmed the words
Natashian Rynne Elboser’s Point of View“Why did you buy so much?! Can you even bring this to war?!” Maximus was already complaining as we barely reached the castle’s gates. He insisted on carrying it back himself – I’ve gotten used to it, I guess he’s a little weaker than me.“Can you at least try to suppress your vigor rather than buying all this stuff?”I looked back at him with widened eyes – what does he mean by vigor? “Nathan.”I flinched as I was already facing Master Zonner – he had an unreadable expression on his face. Fuck, did I come back too late? He’s probably going to scold me again…“M-Master?” I immediately pulled the pocket I was making Maximus carry as I smiled the best I could. He looked over at Maximus as he looked down at me, he mumbled something incoherent – something I couldn’t quite catch on. Damn, why do I have to have the weakest wolf instincts…“W-what was that, master?” I tried to ask again, however, he merely shook his head.“That was nothing – Nathan, ge
