I couldn't reach Willow. After asking the hospital nurses, they all told me she hadn't come in today.

A sense of foreboding surged within me. If I had guessed it right, Macy probably already knew about things.

I reported it to the police, and after reviewing nearby surveillance footage, I found only footage of Willow leaving the house. She was carrying something as she turned out of the building's corridor and entered a narrow alley.

This was a route she took every day because it was the shortest path to the hospital. There were no cameras there, so the trail went cold.

I couldn't find Willow, so I had to look for Macy.

Sean was indeed a very obedient lapdog. Just after I left the police station, he stopped me.

"Where is Macy?" I grabbed Sean's collar in return and pinned him to the ground.

Sean's body was gradually weakening, and he couldn't break free at all. "You're asking me that? I should be asking you that question! Macy blocked me! Did you put her up to it?"
