I looked at myself in the mirror one more time. My “Lisa” persona was complete. Humberto had done an amazing job, as always, but still, when I looked at myself, I felt like something was missing.

“Aunt Lisa, you need to smile!” Caroline reminded me. She was right—Lisa was spontaneous and open. I just needed to let that energy flow, and everything would fall into place.

I sat down in the chair while Liliane finished adjusting the camera. Who’s the best wolf in the world? I asked Lisa silently, letting her joyful energy take over as I began the intro.

“Hey, it’s Lisa here, talking to all of you. My dear fans, you’re amazing! You’ve turned my whole team upside down!” I let out a soft laugh, giving the chair a gentle spin before leaning a little closer to the camera. “We got so many messages it’s impossible to answer them all, but don’t be sad if your email doesn’t make it into the Lisa Answers segment. I’m reading as many as I can, and I’ll carry each and every message in my heart.”

As soon as we stepped into the office, Damian closed the door and pulled me over to an armchair, making me sit next to him. Both of his hands were wrapped around mine, gently caressing them as he looked into my eyes with concern.“Eliza, ask for a transfer. I promise I won’t force you to stay with me if you don’t want to. But after what happened, I can’t let you keep living there.”“Damian, if you keep worrying about me like this, I might end up falling for you,” I joked. This time, he didn’t laugh. His face stayed serious.“Eliza, the fact that you survived everything you went through… that was a miracle. And miracles don’t tend to repeat themselves. I don’t know a single wolf in all of history who could’ve taken on three witches in one fight, especially with a psychic involved. How did you resist her attack?”“I didn’t fight all of them at the same time. I managed to take down the fire witch before the psychic showed up. And even then, I didn’t resist the psychic attack—I would’ve d

I walked alongside my mom to the dining room. She was explaining a whole bunch of house rules about etiquette and proper behavior. This “prison” they called home ran on a tight system. Knowing myself, I wouldn’t last more than a month here. I’d always loved living free and making my own rules. One by one, I greeted all the relatives already seated at the table. There was no warmth, no emotion from the older ones—neither in their faces nor in their voices. I guess the harsh Singer training had drained the soul out of them. When I got to my dad, he gently stroked my cheek. That was about as affectionate as he ever got with me. If he was happy I was here, I couldn’t tell. I’d never seen him smile in my entire life.I sat down at the table with a serious expression. Only the little cousins still had some life in their eyes. I felt suffocated in that environment, but there was nowhere to run.The only time I managed to smile again was when Damian arrived. He shattered the frozen atmosphere

When I opened my eyes again, the room was dark. I was lying in a comfortable bed, wrapped in a soft, warm blanket. My right arm was in a sling, and the other had an IV hooked up to it.“Don’t move!” a woman’s voice said the moment she noticed I was awake.“Mom, where am I?” I asked. My throat was dry, and my voice came out raspy. My head was pounding, and my breathing felt heavy. Even speaking hurt.“You’re home, sweetheart. Your dad brought you back right after he rescued you,” she said gently. Tears welled up again. I was safe—I was with my mom. No matter how distant or busy she’d been, one thing she’d never failed at was taking care of me when I was sick.“How long was I out?” I coughed lightly. She grabbed a glass of water and helped me drink.“Three days. Since we didn’t know how bad your injuries really were, your father thought it was best to keep you sedated until we got all the tests done. Luckily, your wounds weren’t as serious as they looked.”“Should I even be here in Arch

I started softly singing through my tears, trying to calm myself down. It felt like I was trapped in a nightmare. When was this all going to end? My heart hurt more than the injuries on my body. You’re not alone! Lisa told me. I went silent immediately. My heart was racing.“You found me again?” I looked down at the water and couldn’t help but smile as I wiped my tears away. He was always there when I needed him the most. “So you’re really not tied to one place. Good to know!”I let out a soft laugh as I tried to steady my breathing. Just having him there made me feel better.“They sent me to Soriar to help, but the team I was with left me behind. They said I was attracting too many monsters.”I fell quiet for a moment. I desperately wanted to hear the Mysterious Lord’s voice again. Nothing. Not even a whisper...“I thought I was strong, but I’m at my limit. I don’t know if I can keep going alone—if I should head back or just wait here and hope more wolves show up so I can join them.

I was the last one to get on the bus. All the seats in the back were already taken, so I had no choice but to sit in the front row. The officer in charge came by to check our names and hand out energy supplements. I ate mine without much enthusiasm, then leaned my head back and closed my eyes.I hadn’t slept well in days. Any break—even just a few hours—I had to make the most of. When I woke up again, the bus was driving past an unfamiliar village. I knew it was nighttime because it was dark out, but I had no clue what time it was.I glanced out the window and saw the driver following a military vehicle. The symbol on it was different from Siram’s—proof we were already in Soriar. After passing through the village, the bus turned onto a dirt road and followed it for about fifteen minutes before stopping. We got off the bus in order. My eyes scanned the makeshift barricade built in the open field—probably one of the last lines of defense before the monsters could reach the village.I st

  • Destiny: The Alpha Heir   Chapter 132

I sat on the base floor, leaning my back against the wall. From where I sat, everything looked under control, but my sharp ears could still pick up the chaos coming through the radio in the control room. Only two out of the four bases had managed to suppress the invasion, and Base Two seemed to be in the worst shape.“Here, eat something,” Liam said, sitting next to me and handing me a granola bar. I gladly accepted it as I kept observing the scene in front of me.Day turned to night. Campfires lit up the sand where the monsters’ bodies were burned, disappearing for good. Before long, William returned with the guards, carrying the witches’ corpses. A curious crowd gathered to watch the bodies being tossed into the flames.“Call the heir now!” I heard Sam shout from the control room. Just like that, the calm turned back into chaos.I stood up and lined up with the other lead warriors, while the rest of the guards—those not on patrol—took position in front of us. William stood in the ce
