Chapter Six

Moira Turner

She'd welcomed the darkness with open arms, never felt as powerful and chagrined as she did in the presence of infinite unknowing darkness and now it was all fading fast as the darkness retreated, deep into the abyss, locked away in some part of her consciousness.

She knew she was not awake, yet she'd never felt alive, she'd never wanted to wake up until now, the darkness faded and left behind a powerful white light and it blinded her, burnt her skin, leaving nothing but charred scars and burnt flesh, She'd gone from comfort to immense pain

'Wake up!' she wanted to scream, but her subconscious was a cruel taskmaster, giving her pain and taking away her very ability to express it. So she laid there drifting in the miasma of burning light, feeling the pain of eternity as it barreled through her mind.

She had no idea how much time had passed until she'd heard her name being called, it came again and again, nothing more than a sliver of a whisper

"I'm here!" She wanted to scream "Help me!"

But her voice was deadened in it's tracks, whatever kept her here wanted her properly pained and wounded, it was an eternity before Moira was able to be let out, pulled out ironically by a golden fishing hook

As her body drew nearer to what would be the surface, she was overtaken by an overwhelming sense of dread, her body knew somehow that it'd rather face the pain than what awaited her above the surface, but it could put up no resistance, all it could do was send jolts of terror across her spine.

"Are you certain she's dead?!" a silky smooth voice called "Not even a faint heartbeat Charon!"

Her body was pulled up, flying a few feet in the air before landing on the ground with a sickening thump

"The Weapon was effective, designed for her death specifically" came a harsh voice from underneath a cloaked figure "But the Acheron has washed it away, much like every other part of her physicality, this will inhibit the reincarnation for awhile"

"Sad" came the silky voice again, echoing everywhere but with no physical embodiment

There was a shift in the air and a female figured materialized bathed in heavenly light, her senses went off again and she was assaulted with nothing but abject fear and uncertainty, Moira tried desperately to get a good look, but her physical features seemed to shift, ever changing and always obscuring her identity, the only thing that seemed constant were her eyes

They shine a bright Gold, and when they looked at her them seemed to peer deep within her soul, judging and weighing it's sins

"She'd always being a stupid girl!" She scoffed "How about her accomplice, where is he?!, I would love to sink a claw in his heart for daring to take my trophy!"

"My connection to him his severed my lady!" He said cowering in what resembled the same fear that she felt "His body is in too deep, I'm afraid he lies in the river of the forgotten!"

"Ahh, the bloody Lethe" She said smiling contentedly despite the changing personas "a fitting end for a tragic god"

"You-you are pleased Mistress?!" The cowardly figure asked

"Yes!" She said sighing happily "Our bargain is complete and the underworld is yours for the claiming, but first a souvenir for my beloved"

She brought out a perfectly manicured hand, from underneath her robes, hands tipped with freakishly long sharp nails

"I like to take the brightest things" She said giggling like a small child " Her eyes would do, look at them, one would almost think that they were still alive"

She reached down and picked her up as if she weighed nothing more than a simple ragdoll

"Look at you sister" She said in the most amused tone "We could have been greater than father himself, but you chose to be useless, if you're lucky I'd see you again in a few millennia, that's if you manifest quickly, I'd love to take something to remember you by, I bet you'd love me to have those eyes, father did say they were the prettiest in the world"

Her hands inches closer, gouging out the first one at a deliciuously slow pace and partially blinding her, but just as she was about the take the next, Moira felt a sharp tug as she was pulled upwards at an alarmingly fast pace further and further away until she reached the point of return

**

She awoke with a scream, her body soaked in old sweat, she could feel the ghosts of the pain, the golden eyes forever etched into her memory

"Good you're awake!" Said the school nurse who had been too busy stuffing her face with cheese puffs to notice her "You might want to get out of here, it's past closing hours already and I have a hot date to get to so if you don't mind hurrying up"

Her words came like a ringing to her, she felt like she was effing drunk, her head was groggy, thankfully the room had stopped spinning, she felt full, possessing something that hadn't been there before, some strange power

"Did you not hear me?!" the nurse sighed turning towards her, she stopped abruptly in her tracks gazing at her with some outwordly look in her eyes

"What type of contacts are those?" She asked dreamily "where can I get those?"

"I don't use contacts" She said in an outworldly voice, much so that it surprised even her

Grabbing her shoes and pushing her way past the nurse, knocking her down as if she weighed nothing more than flimsy paper. Too bothered to give the slightest fuck she rushed out, only to find the dark eyed boy waiting for her in the steps

"We need to talk!" He said simply

"Not now!" She said trying to barrel past him with no avail guess her streak had worn off

"Look" He said shoving a mirror into her face

She was instantly awed, her eyes spun in multicolored lights, hypnotizing even her, but the shock wasn't over, his eyes shifted turning the same color as hers

"I know what you did" he said " I have been having dreams about you too, I saw what you did at Brett's party, I am just like you and we need to talk!"

Dalia Grey

She didn't know how she woke up or even how she'd gotten home, the visions had assaulted her in waves, plunging her into despair, horrible visions they were, twisted and warped in every possible way always ending with her dying in crude despicable ways.

She'd awoken much earlier than her counterpart and had begun blindly stumbling home, that's when the incidents begun

it started out with everyone she'd seen, all gazing at her like she'd grown sixteen fricking heads, staring mesmerized at something about her, treating her like she was a damned goddess

Needless to say, she'd spent no money coming home and that was an added advantage, but she was much too conflicted to care, conflicted about her damned existence, about the raw power that seemed to be brooding inside her and had apparently grown stronger

She'd began to take proper notice when she'd arrived home to Micheal 'Damned' Gordon and his sleazy bummed sons and they clearly weren't themselves

"How was your day" He'd asked in a fatherly voice "I hope there wasn't much trouble for you"

He'd reached out to stroke her hair, which caused her stomach to churn with abject disgust

"Don't you be fucking touching me!" she growled "What the damn fuck is going on?, I do know mom doesn't arrive until nine so you better piss off and do not pretend to be nice to me just to get me off!"

He looked genuinely shocked and hurt she'd almost pitied him, if only he wasn't such a damned fucking liar and a horrible person with horrible mentalities then she'd have believed him

"I love you!" He said lowly "we all do, if you want to take some time off to get yourself and talk about this later then let me know, I know that-"

He delved off into some speech about growing up an parenting, she had to admit it the bastard had some fucking nerve

"I'm off to my space" She said cutting him off "kindly fuck the fuck off!"

She'd taken a piece of fruit and stomped up the stairs to accentuate her anger, and then slammed the door so loudly, it scared the neighborhood cats

She fumed over some things, mumbling to herself about her shitty as fuck day, not that she'd been conscious for most of it, the anger kept on welling up in her, the intense emotion brewing in her, bringing her to an emotional peak, squeezing out every drop of emotion for her and a loose scream escaped her throat.

What happened next left her breathless, her shrill scream was accompanied by a huge dose of power that ravaged across the room shattering the glass causing the entire room to shake shattering.

Her hands shook as she surveyed the destruction that she'd wrought, unsure of what to feel, unsure of what to do, her mind blank and numb with surprise of what she'd done, then a single voice passed through her head

"Come find me" it whispered

Her door burst open, Micheal Gordon rushing in

"Were you hurt by the earthquake?!" Came his voice seemingly faraway "Dalia!, Dalia!" he calls shaking her

Her mind raced, faraway from him and his voice, her mind wondering just what the fuck was going on

Axel Stone

He watched his twin brother, his body reacting too the pull of her, their goddess's power causing their cocks to stir

"She's close" Darren said "You feel it too don't you?"

"you know I fucking do" He said breathily "she needs us!"

By the fucking gods the scent of her power sent him over the edge, he sped up as he approached New Fall, fucking hell her scent grew stronger and stronger with each mile they crossed

"She's gonna be the damned death of us!" He groaned he felt himself grow harder and harder

The link between their minds joined together for a brief moments

"come find us" he whispered through the link " one find us baby"

They were like dogs on the hunt, they knew simply what tht were meant for, she'd plagued their dreams for a long period of time, she'd been solely theirs meant for them, that much had been made known to them from their dreams

They'd delves from realm to realm moving and searching for gert they'd never had a strong a link to her as they'd been here, she certainly had to be here.

They'd had the urgent sense of dread needing to find her because of the premonition and also because they had been forewarned by some sense no that they could really explain it

"What do you think she'll be like?!" Darren asked "Do you think she knows about this?!"

"I don't really know but we'd figure this out, she is ours and deep down within she does, she just has to"

The drive continued in silence for awhile, nothing to illuminate the road but their headlights and the moon, the town was silent, seemed like the last place you'd expect something damned good to come from. Second thoughts ran through their minds for awhile until they felt it

The damn earth rumbling and rippling with so much magic energy it caused their their senses to overload

"Damn right fucking place" Darren said through gritted teeth.

They were coming for her alright.
