Chapter Twenty-Four

Lisha POV

They say history repeats itself, and I am starting to believe it. I groaned and picked myself back off the ground; this is not Skyla I am training with; my opponent is not my friend. Sharna is a quick-tempered nasty bitch; that's one of the reasons I chose her as my sparring partner. Sharna smirks at me as she sneers,

“Why don't you give up, Fae? I would hate for you to break a nail.”

I snort,

“If I wanted your opinion Sharna, I would flush the toilet.”

A few wolves watch us snickering; she shakes her head before lunging at me. Her fist connects with the side of my head, my knees buckle, and I am back on my ass on the ground.

“Had enough yet, Lisha?”

“Nope, come at me again.”

This time, she rolls her eyes; I turn when she throws a punch, hitting her in the temple with my elbow. She staggers but doesn't go down, growling; she comes at me, holding nothing back. Knocking me to the ground, she punches me repeatably in the face. Everyone stops when a growl resonates throug
