Chapter 21: Child

I am eating ice cream when my phone suddenly rings. I look at it and saw it was Kurt.

I answered it.

“Joyce Clara, where are you?” he asked as I answered the call.

“Ice cream parlor,” I boringly answer to him and scoop some ice cream again.

I really love ice cream these past few days.

“What? Where is that? Exact location please.”

I answered his question then cut the line down. I am getting irritated with him.

I am enjoying my ice cream here, yet he is disturbing me. Ugh!

After some minutes, he arrived. He approached me with his forehead knotted.

“I though we’ll have lunch together? I went to your office yet you are not there,” he seriously said.
