Panay ang pili ko sa mga damit na panglalaki. Tatlong piraso isang daan ang benta ni Manang Atasha. Ukay-ukay na. Maraming mura at bente lang ang shorts na mga paninda niya. Ang pantalon lang ang medyo mahal.

"Magkano ito, Manang?" Pakita ko sa pantalon na kulay itim. Tantya ko ay kakasya ito kay Reeve.

"Two hundred, Inday Melissa."

"One fifty, Manang," tawad ko.

"One seventy. Huling presyo na iyan, Inday. Bente na lang akin."
