Chapter 005

"I'll take you home." His hot breath fanned against my lips. I slowly opened my eyes, only to see him, inches away from me. We both looked into each other's eyes, and both breathing heavily.

I was back to my senses when the waiter interrupted us to give Klenz the receipt of our order. He paid more than the total prize and just pulled me out before getting his takeout orders. He gently opened the passenger seat for me and like earlier, he was the one who put my seatbelt on before he went to his side.

I was quiet the whole ride, I only got to talk when he'll ask me directions for my address. We stopped two blocks away from our house since I don't want my cousin catching me and our prof. I was busy taking off my seatbelt when he took my bag. We both got out of his car, he handed me my backpack and my brow instantly raised when he handed me the boxes of cake that he took out earlier.

"What's that?" I asked him but instead of answering he took my hand and made me hold it before he signalled me to walk. He leaned at the hood of his car waiting for my movement so I didn't waste any time. I looked at him one last time but immediately broke the contact.

"Hey, where have you been?" Kashna welcomed me at the door, she was holding her guitar while she's wearing earphones. I didn't answer her and just gave her the boxes Klenz gave me. "What's this?" She asked dumbly but I continued my way to my room.

I took a quick shower and changed into a pair of pink pajamas. This day has been the most tiring day of my school life and the only thing I want to do for now is to nozzle my soft and comfy pillows. I was ready to get in the bed when I suddenly heard my phone ring. 

"Ugh! Who the hell are you!?" I murmured annoyingly and got up again to take my phone out of my backpack. I glared at the unknown number, calling, before ending it. I'm about to go back to bed, but my phone rang again and it's so annoying. It didn't leave me any choice but to answer it or I'll be having a freaking nightmare about ringtones. "What!?" 

I growled at the person on the other line. There were no responses and I was about to end the call again but I stilled when I heard his voice.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you." Klenz's voice sent shivers down to my spine. His bed voice was so tempting and it sounds like music to every woman's ear.

"No... I mean, no you didn't interrupt me. I just... I just didn't know who was calling." I think this was the first time that I got to talk with someone using a calm and soothing voice, I'm really not the kind of person to do so, but heck! "Uhmm, are you at your house already?" I was hesitant to ask him that question, silence took over the line before he answered.

"Yeah," it was just a short answer but I don't know why it created a lot of impact to me. "Where are you?" He broke the silence, making me smile from ear to ear.

"Miss me?" I teased him. "Hmmm, don't worry, promise you'll see me again tomorrow–" I wasn't able to finish my sentence when he abruptly ended the call. I blinked enumerate times, looking at the screen of my phone only to realize that he really ended the call. The audacity of that man to do all these things to me! 

I huffed a heavy breath and charged my phone before going back to my bed. The memory of him kissing me earlier came gushing through my mind, I was smiling the whole time until drowsiness visited me.

I woke up all smiles and energetic, I took a quick shower and went to the kitchen where my cousin Kashna is currently having some cereal. I went to the fridge and saw the cakes still in there so I decided to eat it for breakfast. 

"So someone woke up at the right side of the bed, aye?" Kashna asked with her piercing eyes. "Well? Where have you been last night? You came home pretty late." 

I walk to the chair beside her before wrapping my hands on her neck. "Well couz, something's are much better as a secret." I whispered to her ear before proceeding to eat my breakfast.

Uncle drove us to the university and like the usual routine, Kashna and I parted ways like we didn't know each other. I went to my first subject, everything flowed smoothly and fast as I sat on my chair and took notes of whatever is presented in front. My grin widened when I heard the bell rang, indicating that we're on to another subject. Our subject teacher got out of the class so I took out my purse and freshened myself up. I sprayed a lot of perfume all over my body then sat there like a very decent student.

Minutes later Klenz entered the room and I could see all eyes on him, especially the girls who were fidgeting their asses on their prospective seats. I rolled my eyes when one of my female block mates, the smartest rather, went to him and helped him carry his things. 

Klenz looked around the whole class, as if looking for something, or should I say someone. I raised my brow when his eyes landed on mine but he was quick to divert it, he gave the girl a small nod and didn't let her help him. I secretly smiled in victory and poised myself up. I was just following his every movement as he started his class. 

"I need some representatives to answer the formulas on the board." His voice glowered at the whole room, making everyone quiet. I looked at the problem that he wanted us to answer, and pouted when I didn't even understand a thing.

We all looked at the girl who approached him earlier when she confidently raised her hand. Klenz gave him the marker and waited for other students to answer the others. My attention was all on him and I unintentionally raised my hands up, it was inaccurate but I think it will be worth it. He raised a brow at me and signalled me to come in front. 

He was standing next to me as he handed me the marker, "I don't know how to answer this." I whispered to him with a teasing smile.

"Then why did you raise your hand?" I bit my lower lip when he ran his tongue over his luscious lips, making it more reddish. "Eyes up, lady." He murmured, almost out of breath. His eyes squinted at me when he realized my reason.

Yep! I just raised my hands because I wanted to stand beside him. It's fun teasing him and I'm really enjoying it.

He huffed a low breath and took the marker from me, everyone was in chaos since they were all waiting for the answers so they could ignore us here. He opened it's lid and made me hold it before he gradually held my hand. He went behind me and taught me how to do it in that position. 

"Is it clear, Miss Davidson?"
