Driving up to the appointed place, I gather all the papers and hard drives. My stomach is doing backflips, I’m afraid, I have no clue what I’m walking into, nor do I know if Honey is still alive. You only realize how lucky you are, when you have experienced something horrifying or a remarkably narrow escape. The screech of tires fills the air as our two vehicles collide in a violent crash. Glass shatters and metal crunches as my car is struck by a black SUV. Slamming into my tailgate, my eyes wide in shock as I grip the steering wheel. My vehicle starts to spin out of control as I fight hard to keep it on the road. With a sickening jolt, my car slams into a nearby pole, sending shards of glass and twisted metal flying through the air.
