Xavier has been gone for two weeks, but he never fails to FaceTime every night. He spends half of the time talking with McKenzie, and the other half talking to me or trying to put me to sleep. It’s okay to say that I’m slowly getting addicted to red wine. I can’t sleep without taking a glass but then it’s nothing serious; just a glass.

Daniel however has taken it upon himself to avoid me at all cost. He comes to see McKenzie when I’m still at work, then leaves before I return. I only find out about his visiting through Mckenzie’s nanny and sometimes through McKenzie.

I’ve called and texted and called but he doesn’t return any of them. I also went as far as visiting him at his place, but he ignores my knocks.
