Chapter 15 - May I Have This Dance?

Peter dragged Jacob with him no matter how much Bella tired to protest as Jacob too tried to decline but to no avail, Jacob gave Bella a puppy look wanting her to stop Peter but she only chuckled at his cute expression looking at him helplessly.

" Bella, would you mind dancing with me? " and Bella's jaw dropped as Ashton forwarded his hand.

Bella stared at Ashton with open mouth and shocked eyes but Ashton's constant intent gaze pulled her out of her thoughts. She cleared her throat and tried to fetch some words from his mind that was currently filled with jumbled thoughts. She grabbed a glass of cold drink from the waiter who was passing by her trying to clear her mind and to buy sometime as she was still thinking how to answer or to be specific how to deny his request.

" Sorry Sir but I will have to decline." and with that Bella took a sip of her cold drink keeping her casual act.

" Why....??" it was all that rolled out of his tongue.

" Yes Sir, it won't be nice to dance with so
