Into the Nyth's Manor

Being escorted inside the Nyth's mansion was a new experience for Lei. She could not stop staring at the high ceilings and noticed that every step she took had carpet underneath.

For so long she surmised that carpets can only be seen in grand palaces and cherished ballrooms.

At the end of the carpeted hallway stood five shadowy figures, eyes glowing in either shades of crimson and azure. Her small figure was between the two huge wolf guards as they approached the Alpha's sons.

"Have you said your farewells to the Auctioneer?" Ares asked her.

"I have," she replied firmly. "I am forever grateful for your help."

"Then perhaps you should face the person who has helped you." Ajax's stony voice chimed in.

She moistened her throat and then faced Ajax with a full face. "Thank you for fighting to keep me, Lord Ajax. I am forever in the debt of the Nyths."
