(Ivy)

I've been out of court about less than an hour ago as court hearing has been adjourned to middle this month.

"To Reynold, please." I tell my driver, as I manage to get away from the reporters, resting my head in the backseat.

As soon as I shrug into my favorite armchair, I reach for my phone and dialed Tracy's number.

"Congratulations, Ivy. We should celebrate tonight over pizza and a bottle of champagne and we can —-,"

I roll my eyes and interrupt as quickly as I can. "Slow down, Tracy. The case has been adjourned, there's really no need to go overboard, just say you want pizza," I stifle a chuckle.

"Well, there's that," she strained through her teeth, I bet her ears are turning red at the idea of being caught. "But seriously though, that case should be done with, if you say he's guilty, then he is,"

I could barely stop my smile from spreading. "They can only try," I say, my tone dismissive, deciding it was time to change the subject to one she'd really love to hear.

(Rihanna)I watch as Calvin strutted out of the room and only then did I release the breath I didn't realize I was holding.I glance down at my body and I have a fluffy nightgown on, which leaves me thinking, was it Edith's? Or that weird lady's own.Speaking of weird, the look she threw my way as she stormed out of Calvin's office, a deadly glare, filled with venom and disdain. I wonder why.The beeping of my phone pulls me back to earth, I look around for it and found it at the bedside table.Reaching for it, my eyes widens as I see tons of missed calls from Anthony, and texts.I did see two or three missed calls from mom but I ignored it, tapping on Anthony's message.“Hey, where are you?”“Did he take you home safe?”“Are you sure you're okay? Please respond as soon as you see this?”I let out a deep breath. I'm staying off alcohol for a really long time.I quickly typed back a response. “Yes, I got home safe alright. Thanks for inviting me out and I'm sorry for what happened,”I

(Ivy)Ethan stood less than two feet away from me. His dark hair was combed up, exposing every magnificent angle of his face. His full lips curved into a sinful smirk.I stared, not completely from the shock of seeing him here but I catch myself actually checking him out.I must have had holes in my lungs because my breath became too shallow the second he said he's our new neighbor. That leaves me thinking — quite a lot alright.I'm not gonna lie, I have never seen a man as persistent and strong-willed as him.For everything I've done to force his hand, to leave me be, he always found a way to get even more closer.Something I thought would put me off, suddenly interest me, overwhelms me.I hate to admit it but I'm aware that my heart is no longer as stoic as it was towards Ethan.I don't know when it happened or how he did it but hating him just flew out of the window because somehow he's managed to get to me without me even realizing it.After I gave up on love and men, I just —- pu

(Calvin)As the water runs down my body, the image of Rihanna visualizes in my head, picturing her beneath me, the thrill of her lips against mine. Her legs wrapped around me as I bury myself deep inside her. How hard would she clench? How would she look coming all over my face?“Stop it, Calvin.” I caution. And with that I step out of the bathroom, dried my hair and throw my clothes on before reaching for my laptop to handle some work.Halfway in, and a knock comes to my door. I knew it was Edith.“Come in,” I say, snapping my eyes to the door.Edith walks in, she nods at me as I throw her a knowing look. “She’s in the last room down the hallway, but she's asleep now,” she tells me and I don't miss the smile in her voice. She seemed to have loved Rihanna the second she walked into this house.I nod. “Thank you,”She hesitated and I look at her again. “Uhh… if there's anything you need me to —,”I cut her off even before she could finish. “That'd be all, Edith. You may retire for the

(Ethan)I said I was going all out and I meant every word. I've done my homework, Ivy isn't really an extrovert, but she's not usually cooed up in her house all day like I thought.I dug more and found out she had a favorite coffee shop she often goes to, not quite frequently on week days but very often on weekends. She drops Aria for her classes and stops there, she stays till half an hour or an hour at most. She barely even talks to people, no favorite neighbor, which makes winning her over even more harder. The only place she visits is Bella's and it's not like it happens quite often, she sends Aria over most times.I tried to find out from mother if she knows a thing or two about Ivy without her suspecting anything but she really doesn't. The only thing she knows aside her name is that she's a single mom who wanted a baby for herself.Apparently, her baby daddy isn't in the picture. I didn't think I had welcomed a news as much as I did with that.I haven't seen any man around her,

(Calvin)I did a thing to stop thinking about Rihanna but that only fueled my hunger. it took everything in me to not give in to the urge compelling me to stop her from leaving when she toss that goodbye at me.Sighing, I pick my laptop and left the office, driving straight home. I needed to clear my head. But then around ten to nine, Christian shares some surprising news with me over the phone.“You won't believe who I just spotted Anthony with at Rock night,” I frowned. Why would Christian think I'd be interested in who Anthony is with or anything that concerns him for that matter. He stopped being my brother the second he stole my idea and started his company. I can't forgive such betrayal.Reluctantly, I ask. “Who?” I say, seeming uninterested.“Rihanna, your sexy ass assistant,” he retorts.Upon hearing that Rihanna, the woman who had caused this endless stream of emotions in me, was at the club, dancing with a man, and not just any man but Anthony, a knot twist in my stomach.T

(Ivy)“Is it that obvious?” I ask as we finish our meal, ready for our desert.“Well, not really. But your dislike for him shows, so much,”I shrug. “I can't help it, there's so much at stake. I need him far away from me as possible,”Bella gives me a look. “But— what if he actually does want something serious?”I roll my eyes and blanch at that. “It takes two to tango, Bella. I have no interest whatsoever,” I reply curtly. “Is it okay if we talk about something else?”Bella nods. “Sure, what about next weekend with the —-,” we go on to discuss other matters. But less than an hour later, we decided to call it a night and called for the bill.I was barely out of the restaurant when I bombed into someone. “Oh my God, I'm so sorr—,” the words swivel up in my mouth as my eyes landed on her, after picking up her fallen purse.I squint, my eyes darting at her. “Sorry have we met before?” I ask, just for clarity sake but I was so sure it was her, even with her makeup on.She smiles, a forced
