NOAH’S POV

“What are you doing here?” she asked, her tone dripping with confusion. But that wasn’t what caught my attention. It was the fact that even in her confusion she looked somewhat excited to see me.

“Two things but one is more important,” I responded.

Her interest was piqued, her smiles had become brighter, and it was obvious she was beginning to enjoy most of my surprises. “Don’t tell me you got me another building,”

If I could give you a state I would. But I knew Sasha, she would have my head while trying to see ways to make me return it.

“Don’t give me ideas, Mrs. Beck,” I teased, moving closer to where she stood.

The distance was messing with my mind, I needed to have her close enough to be touched, “How are you liking the space? Anything that should be changed?”

My hands had grabbed her waist pulling her closer to me, and out of instinct, she had placed her hand on my chest like she knew it was meant to be there.
