Charlotte was at home in Teddy's mansion, wearing a white dress as she pondered what Teddy went to the courthouse to do.

Normally, Charlotte used to accompany Teddy to his courthouse visit. But as she was sick, she told him that she wasn't able to follow him.

As she sat on the dining table in the living room downstairs, Lawrence arrived and bowed before her.

"Greetings, Luna," said Lawrence. He bowed before Charlotte, who was seated on a chair at the dining table.

Anne was in her guest room. But she walked out to the living room, wearing a black dress that one of the maids had helped her to bring from her father's house.

Anne was awaiting Teddy's arrival from the courthouse. It was already noon, yet Teddy wasn't yet back.

Anne had her breakfast in her room, as she was avoiding Charlotte.

She looked at Lawrence hopefully to find out why he was in the mansion, and why Teddy wasn't yet back.
