Masuk“Wolfless girls don’t survive long in my world,” Alpha Freki Stormclaw said coldly. “Especially ones accused of murder.” At eighteen, Daciana Draven loses everything in one night—her father, her home, and the pack that once bowed to her bloodline. Branded a traitor and accused of killing both her Alpha father and a child, she is tortured, betrayed, and exiled to die. But death doesn’t claim her. Not when the moon goddess still had more than enough plans in store for her. Rescued by the Alpha of Crescent Moon, Daciana steps into a pack that hates her just as much as the one she escaped. Hunted by rumors, crushed by suspicion, and haunted by a power she doesn’t understand, she makes one vow beneath the moon. She will survive and she will make them pay. Every single one of them. As secrets unravel and ancient blood awakens, the truth threatens to destroy everything. Betrayal runs deeper than loyalty. Love is tangled with vengeance. And when the wolf inside Daciana finally breaks free, it becomes clear she was never meant to kneel. She was born to rule. But in a world where enemies wear familiar faces, the greatest danger may come from those determined to break her in the Alpha’s eyes. What would it take to prove her innocence and keep herself safe?

“Do you intend to just stay in?” Wulf, my best friend insisted for the hundredth time. Today is the mating festival and for some reason I'm not interested in going, I wonder why. “I'm not going, I already told you that” Groaning, I threw my pillow at him. The first day I took my first breath. My mother took her last. She was a human who was offered to the Alpha to keep the treaty when the werewolves couldn't produce a child. For some reason, they thought a human would do. Two years ago, I turned 16. When I didn't shift like other children would, I knew. We all did. There was no way I would put myself through another night of that being rubbed on my face. No, thank you. I turned so he would know I was done with the conversation. That didn't stop him. Funny how you can love someone for something and still hate them for it. The moon festival is just another name for mate's day, werewolves didn't get their mate till they were eighteen and a large number turned eighteen today. When they discovered they could now produce heirs, they wouldn't stop. Dad mentioned a hillarious stories about most of them were taking more than one she wolf at the time. Couldn't blame them though, they were on the edge of extinction. I knew he wouldn't leave so soon yet I ignored him either way. If he wants me to come, he has to work for it. I turned and he was giving the puppy eyes. He chuckled knowing I'd caved in when I got up and got my tracks from the wardrobe. Sometimes I wonder what life would be like if we grew up in a normal setting. No wolf shit, just us. I've liked Wulf since i grew a pair. I did a glance over at myself and told Wulf I was ready. No point doing too much, I'll just be a standby anyway. Wulf got up and hooked my arms with his, ready to leave the room when the enforcer who is also the Beta showed up. My pack has a crazy way of doing things. “The Alpha wants you to follow me” “I'll meet you outside” I sighed and unlinked my arm with Wulf, following Hunter. I bowed my head down when I entered the council. It was customary to avoid looking into the Alpha or the Elders eyes. “Raise your head dear, you're my beloved. You don't have to do all this” I saw the scowl on the Elders face as I raised my head but I ignored them. They can hate me for all I care, Dad was still the Alpha and his word stand. “ You know what tonight is, right?” “Yes Dad” “Would you be joining us?” “I have no choice” He smiled at me. I was always a daddy's girl. The night I was born, the moon goddess had appeared and prophesied that I was the one. Ever since then, the pack had a bone to pick with me. I let out a sigh, the thought of my birth always saddened me. My Dad had loved and cherished my mom refusing to marry even after she passed. I act tough but thinking about it all saddens me. I was dismissed from their presence so I walked back with my head bowed and closed the door behind me. Before the door shut completely, I overheard them talking about how the crescent blood pack was coming. It was a tradition that began decades ago. The Wolves and Lycans were at each other's throat and the moon goddess proposed it to keep the peace. The hall was already packed when I got there. I ignored their stares and walked to Wulf. “Thank goddess you're here” I laughed. “What if you don't find your mate tonight?” His answer would determine if I'll tell him about my hidden crush. “I don't know man, I have to find her tonight else I'll be alone” “You won't entirely be alone, you'll be with me. We can both go to that warrior program I've been telling you about” “No offense but you're wolfless, how do you want to survive a program with wolves and Lycans” he had always questioned my dream whenever I brought it up. Everyone expects me to go do some human thing, that's not I want though. It was time for the ceremony to begin. The moon changed it's colour to red. I kissed Wulf on his cheek and wished him good luck secretly praying for the opposite. “I'm so sorry, I should've been more careful” I used the back of my hands to wipe my tears off when I collided into someone. I turned to glance at who it was when screams of mates and howls vibrated round the hall. “it’s fine, I've been meaning to tell you how beautiful you look” Huh? His hands found my hair and I instinctively stepped away from him. “Thank you” I mumbled. “Why are you acting like you don't want this?” He gave me a predatory look and stepped towards me trapping me between the walls with my hands pinned to the top of my head. Why did I let Wulf convince me to come out? “Let me go, Hunter.” i was loosing my cool but no way would I let him know that. He pressed me further to the wall, sniffed my neck and his hands slipped into my top. I see. So this is how he wants to play. My knee found his shine and I kneed him there with all the strength I had, running when he doubled in pain covering the affected area. “You will regret this!” He shouted after me but I was too busy running away. I bumped into someone and fell on my ass, again. What is with me and running into people today. “Dad!” I screamed when I realized it was, hugging him in relief as I cried out. “Hey princess, what's wrong?” Should I tell him? I contemplated. I don't want any trouble. Today is a good day for the pack. One that I don't want to ruin. “Nothing. I just want to go back to my room. I thought I saw some Lycan's so I ran, they looked scary” “No one would harm you here, you have nothing to be scared about” His words warmed my heart. I was always a daddy's girl. “I'll walk you to your room so you don't get scared again” I chuckled as he held my hands and we walked, talking about nothing and everything when the horn sounded.Freki's povBefore I could respond, she was reaching for the door. I watched her walk away, my eyes fixated on her retreating figure. My wolf was restless, agitated by her absence in a way that made no sense. I don't know what the deal with her is, but I was going to find out. “Mate,” my wolf whined as he watched her leave. I couldn't just allow her stay in my pack, without carrying a proper check on her. The last mate I had fucked me up real bad. The worst part of it is that it was with my own brother. I walked into the gym and went straight for the punching bags, hitting it with everything in me. There was so much pent up anger and frustration in that I knocked the punching bag completely off the hook. The Shadow pack and everyone involved will pay for every harm done. I could see it in her eyes, they must've tortured and broken her. At the same time, she could have been pretending. Tyler couldn't stop ranting about how he thinks she has a role to play in the killing of her fat
Daciana's povI opened my mouth to speak, but no words left my mouth. I blinked the tears back as I closed my mouth. “Follow me” His voice called out. “This will be your room. And oh, don't expect me to go easy on you. The Alpha might be smitten by you but I'll never forget what your pack did.” I bent my head in guilt but anger boiled in my veins, I lost my dad that night too. I couldn't even blame him. My loss probably meant nothing. “Be out in five,” he ordered, and I frowned. I was supposed to rest. He pushed me to the room and closed the door, walking away. I took a look at myself in the mirror and could barely recognize myself, my hair had dirt caked in them and my face was a mess, with make-up cakes at the corners of my eyes. Who would have thought that I would be in this position?Dad was gone. I was stuck with just his memories, every part of his perfect soul had left this earth and he would never ever come back. For the first time in days, possibly weeks, I let out a horr
Daciana's PovI ran towads the river when a body collided into me, I fell face first to the ground and they pinned me to the ground. I struggled but I was no match for them. I was hungry and weak. “I’ll go first, I'm going to enjoy my time with her,” The brown teeth one smiled as the grey one chuckled at the lewd comment. They flipped me around and tore open my shirt freeing my boobs. “They look so good when they're out. Even better than they were in the dress.” “Let me go!” I screamed and kicked as one of them raised his hand and connected it with my face. “Stupid bitch!” He hit me again before he stood up and unbuckled his trouser while the other played with my boobs. He kicked his trouser down and freed his cock settling between my legs as his cock rubbed my cunt. “Please! Let me go!” I could feel bile rising at the back of my throat, even if I didn't have what I wanted to throw up. “Shhhhh..I promise you'll love it,” I closed my eyes and screamed as he nudged my entrance. I
Daciana's povMorning came and I was dragged out of my room. The air hung heavy with hatred. The trial was to be held with every pack member present as that was customary to the law. Hunter sat on the Alpha's chair and glanced towards me with a murderous glare. The ghost of his smirk was enough to send me into turmoil. A chair was brought beside and Wuana sat on it.I didn't want to think that things might have been different if I just accepted Hunter in the first place. Wulf didn't look at me throughout when I was dragged into the hall. Not once. “Wulf,” I whispered. His ignorance hurt more than anything. “Come forward,” Hunter called out. I bit my lips as everyone turned and stared at me. I forced myself to step forward, keeping my spine straight even though my knees were about to give up. I was led to stand at the center of the moon paint and took a deep breathe in a bid to keep calm.“We all know that Daciana has been found to be a murderer and a traitor.” There was a commoti
