Chapter 15

Her eyes welled up as she ran towards the door, trying to unlock it, but it was all futile. The door only opens when Adonis wants it to.

"Let me out! I just want to leave, please," She pleaded, tears already streaming down her cheeks.

She was scared of the man in front of her. He was different from the Adonis she knew. This man standing here had an expression and aura that suffocated her. He looked scary and unfeeling. She wondered about all the terrible things he could do to her.

With long strides, he moved over to where she stood, shaking like a scared child, and grabbed her by her arm. "You think you can run away from me?" His deep blue eyes bore a grim expression. "Sooner than you think, I will make you all mine, Dela."

He pulled her to the bed and flung her on it. "I won't harm you, Dela." His voice was low, laced with a hint of sincerity, but Delaney didn't care at that point.
