Chapter 1

Her phone beeped. Bringing it out, she see a message from Dom.

Smiling, she opened the message.

Two hours passed. Come back to me.

She blushed hard.

Damn his words turns her on all the time.

Tamara stare at Sophia who is still smiling down at her phone.

She scoffed. "Dominic?"

Sophia looked at her. "Yep."

"He wants you to come back right?" Nathan asked.

"Yes. Let's go back. Maybe next time we will be lucky to catch an animal or two"

Nathan nods as they both turn to head back.

"I want to pee first " Tamara said stopping them on their track.

They looked at her.

"Wait here, I'll be right back" Tamara said as she disappeared into the woods.

"Don't be long" Sophia said signing.

Nathan work on his bow.

Sophia stare at him. She wondered what's off about him that makes Tamara see him as a curse.

He is tall, handsome and fearless.

To her they look perfect together.

But her sister see the opposite.

Why is that?

"Nathan did you...."

"Shh" he cut her off.

She arched her brows.

"Do you hear that?" He asked.

She looked at him in confusion.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I think I heard a sound"

"What sound?"

Nathan inhaled. "Do you smell that?"

Sophia inhaled, her eyes widened. "I do."

Nathan looked the direction.

Sophia inhaled again. "Smells like...."

"Humans" Nathan completed.

"How...? Aren't they supposed to be far from here?" Sophia asked worriedly.

"Yes they are. Maybe they are tourists"

"Or hunters" Sophia said clenching on her bow. 

Nathan looked at her.

Sophia held her bow more tightly.

"We should leave." He said.

Sophia nods.

"Tamar...." A shot from no where hit Nathan on his heart.

Sophia froze as she watch blood come out of Nathan's mouth.

His body fell to the ground.

"Nathan!" She screamed.

Running towards him, another gun shot hit her back.

Twice.

She gasped, falling to the ground.

Blood popped out of her mouth.

She felt a sharp sting all over her body.

The pain is agonizing.

Her insides are breaking down into pieces.

It is burning.

She thought about a silver bullet.

Only that can give such agonzing pain.

"Silver bullet" her wolf said.

She sounds weak.

Sophia moved a bit. She can't even speak.

She thought about Dominic.

She thought about her Luca. Her son.

She can't even make a mind call to them. She is so weak.

She thought about this being the end for her.

She heard another gun shot.

Someone screamed.

Tamara.

She recognised the voice.

Oh no. Tamara got shot too.

She thought to herself.

"Sophia!"

She heard Tamara.

Next she heard steps approaching... but sluggishly.

Tamara's tears filled face came in front of her.

"Sophia" she called, crying. 

Sophia opened her mouth to speak but nothing is coming out.

Nothing but blood.

Tamara cried as she held Sophia's hand.

Sophia's eyes went to Tamara's injured arm.

She got shot too.

Tamara followed her eyes.

"Humans. They shot me. And you both too!" Tamara cried as she looked towards Nathan laying lifeless ahead of them.

"Nathan!" She cried.

Sophia let out a puff.

"Sophia...."

"Dom...." Sophia managed to say.

"I'll make a mind call right now " Tamara said closing her eyes.

Sophia's eyes are dropping.

"Sophia stay with me please!" Tamara cried.

A wolf howl echoed.

Sophia's heart tightened.

That's Dom.

She thought to herself.

She can see Tamara crying but she can't hear words anymore.

She is spinning away.

Slowly.

No please.

Let me see Dom's face for the last time.

Please.

Please moon goddess.

She pleaded in her heart.

Dominic stormed the area in his big brown wolf form.

He stop on his track the minute he sight Tamara holding his injured beloved Luna.

Their eyes locked.

His heart tightened.

His blood boiled.

"Dom it's the humans!" Tamara cried.

Adrenaline filled his head.

Their scent hit his nose.

They were really here!

He said internally.

He followed the direction.

"Dom!" Tamara called but he doesn't respond.

All he wants is to kill those motherfuckers.

He searched all through but couldn't find any.

He is still bent on looking for them.

Oh he will so tear them apart!

"Dom..."

He stop on his fast tracks the minute Sophia made a mind call.

Sophia.

He rushed back to her.

They are still in the same position he left them.

He turned back to his human form.

He is now shirtless but on black trousers. He rush towards his Luna.

Tamara moved away from them a bit, sobbing.

Dom held Sophia in his arms. Her blood filled his hands.

His blood boiled seeing her in this state.

She is fading away.

Fuck he shouldn't have allowed her go for this fucking hunting!

"Sophia" he called. "my love"

She open her mouth to speak.

Nothing.

"Stay with me baby"

Tamara sobbed looking at them.

"Stay with me"

She reach for his face with her weak hand, smiling a little.

Tears filled Dom's eyes.

Sophia can't hear a word. But she is glad to see his face.

His beautiful diamond like eyes.

"Moon goddess....., thanks for letting me see his face one last time. Ple.... please take care of him for me" she prayed in her heart.

Dom kissed her palm as it fell off slowly.

He looked at her.

Her eyes closed slowly.

"Sophia!"

"No" Tamara cried.

"Sophia!!!"
